Synopsis;;
We cannot forget our nature...
After the death of her sister, amateur magician and gifted sword-fighter Lady Nefertiti is forced to flee her home. Aided by a ragtag team of misfits, the quest to clear her name begins.
Stranded in the perilous Wasteland, hunted by bandits and stalked by something far more sinister, they soon find that their very survival is at stake...

 And a main character makes their first appearance! And no, Diablo cannot hear Vince speak. He is, however, very attuned to magic and can sense the invocation of the sun gods power.
For some reason I really like this page, especially that bottom panel. And I tried to give the rock a little bit of texture, too. I think it worked quite well. Anyway, I wonder what Diablo is doing at a mysterious shrine in the middle of the night?

And that, my friends, brings us to the end of the prologue! The next page will see the start of our story! Stay tuned for more!
 Chapter one begins! And it's a beautiful day in the mountains of Manaia - just right for practicing your swordplay. I'm also experimenting with panel borders and text panels, so let me know what you think!  Well, I'm reall happy with 75% of this page (especially panel 2) but panel 4 sucks. I'll go back and work on it some more tomorrow, but I wanted to get this up. Either way - I finally got the panel borders to look the way I want them to!  And Tigerlily makes her debut appearance! Turns out I love drawing her curly hair. And Autumn trees, too. |

Characters -- In Order of Appearance;;
• ? - Grey tabby she-cat in a cream dress. Wears gold bracelets and carries a wooden staff. High priestess of Manaia.
• Viktor 'Vince' Barinov - russet coloured tom with black markings. Wears a green jacked and a white scarf. One torn ear. Lone wanderer.
• Diablo - very dark grey tom. Wears an ivory mask.
• Lady Nefertiti - dark grey she-cat with lighter markings. Wears an olive jacket and carries a sword.
• Ka - ginger tabby tom with ice blue eyes.
• Keeon - brown and white tom wit Turkish Van markings.
• Mali - dark brown tabby she-cat. Wears a beige short and grey armour. The Palace Swordmaster.
Gods/Godesses Mentioned;;
• Ra - falcon-headed god of the sun. First King of the gods.

A few people are busy around this time. Shadowface just said that not very many people were around the new WFF. I'm not sure how I could help with making it more active. Maybe have a few more contests or bring back the newspaper. I'm kind of worried, Shadow doesn't seem very happy...  I'm doing okay now. But these last few days have been busy. I am really enjoying your comic. I really look forward to the updates. |

Unfortunately, the page won't be released today, but will make an appearance in the next few days. It's almost finished - just one panel left and dialogue, but I don't have a spare few hours to put it together. Anyway, page coming ASAP! |
