Lad grinned slightly into Brimstone's sloppy kiss. He giggled softly as he tumbled over. The sighthound landed on his back with a sigh, tucking his paws against his chest rather cutely. His tail thumped against the tar below.
"That's more like it." The whippet stretched up to nuzzle Brimstone's neck, then dropped back down, smiling as he looked up at his lover.
"Proceed." The whippet cocked an ear innocently. lozi Give him another, quick but passionate lick, he gently bit his ear. Suddenly, as if someone had snapped him with a rubber band, Brimstone got off of Lad, looking embarrassed.
"We should focus on getting food. Night will come soon, and we don't know what is in the forest these days."

"If it makes you feel better, I can't hunt either. I'm too big," Pandora said, "but don't worry the test is simple. What are you good at? Which rank were you thinking of taking?" "I'd be grateful just to make it to patroller. I don't know any lower rank that doesn't require me to have just met the pack. I mean, even sooner before every dog else." She shook her head, grimacing with worry. "Honestly, I'd be fine with being the lowest ranking patroller, just to feel like I have some purpose, something to contribute."

Sorry for my random times of being on, and their briefness. It's a new quarter in school, and the work is chewing me up. :| ]]

"We should focus on getting food. Night will come soon, and we don't know what is in the forest these days." "Who cares about food?" Lad said, pressing his head to Brimstone's chest and closing his eyes. "That can come later. And don't be embarrassed . . . This is a special moment. Just . . ." Lad nibbled at Brimstone's neck. " . . . relax." He gave Brimstone a gentle shove with his shoulder. "Catch me if you can!" he teased, the took off toward a scraggly cluster of weeds poking forth from the concrete, brittle and dry.

Liberty followed Woodrow onto the porch and sat down.
Pandora smiled. "If you want, I'll let Broomstone know about your desire to be a patroller?" (btw, whenever possible, can Pandora rp with Brimstone soon?)

Woodrow kept his distance, their flanks not touching. The terrier gazed out into the near-darkness, hazy with autumn light. He cleared his throat deep inside his throat, not wanting to draw attention but also very suddenly feeling clogged-up. He looked away from Liberty. He didn't disfavor her, he just didn't know what to say.
"What brings you to this place?" Woodrow piped up, his quick and casual-sounding words overlapping his most recent thoughts. He himself did now know why he lingered—the promise of a pack, he told himself, not so much in an effort to cover up any second thoughts, but in an effort to return to the conversation at hand, the perfect distraction.
The terrier cleared these thoughts and turned to Liberty, waiting intently as if the oncoming answer would determine the fate of the world.

"I have no where to go and I'm too little to protect myself so having a pack behind me always is a good idea," Liberty said, stretching her limber limbs.

Woodrow didn't really think this pack would be behind him. He bumped this aside, leveling his gaze with Liberty's. "Really." He didn't know what else to say. He dusted his tail along the mismatched wooden boards, whisking it to curl around his side. He could at least be more comfortable. "What plans do you have for the future?" he suggested.

There's been a little inactivity, which I know you all have things to do, but you're leaving your partners hanging. Stop. I may be dramatic and pound the rules into you all the time, but it's only to keep this place running. I've got things going on too, but I manage to find time for this place as well. Though they are evidently less time-consuming. Panthermoon, you have been completely active on another roleplay. I know I caused the guilt-tripping incident and likely made you feel bad, but with good reason. And don't get me wrong, I love all ya'll without a doubt. Every one of you. @shootforthestars StormheartIf you don't actively roleplay at some point or another, I'll take action.

"Well I think I'll learn to hunt and become a hunter," Liberty said softly Woodrow doubted it. This female was hardly the size of a rabbit. Maybe a little smaller than him, and definitely ganglier. He looked like a Great Pyrenees compared to her.
He grinned encouragingly. "Sounds good." He flopped his paw down on the deck and licked it absentmindedly. "Lead Hunter, even?"

"I don't know if I'm leader material..." Liberty said, "But it Brimstone thinks that's what I should be then I'll be that."

Woodrow listened with sudden apprehension. Okay, so the female was small, but perhaps a fighting spirit would show in her when it felt like it. He was behind her regardless.
"Brimstone?" said Woodrow, blinking with confusion at her last words.

"Oh." Woodrow's ears flattened. That hellhound. He and his supposed mate could only mean trouble. They reminded Woodrow of the type of dog Gladys would have put to sleep. Woodrow bit back an afterword of insubordination, instead tucking his paws beneath him and biting down on his lip.
He could feel the heat of grief in his face threatening to show again and looked away, pretending to gaze at a nearby tree.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" he said casually. Though it wasn't all that pretty.

Harper padded out of city limits, her paw pads rough against the dirty pavement. When she stepped paw onto the grass, she sighed in relief. The grass felt cool and soothing against her aching paws. She didn't care. She had no liking for Lad, nor many dogs that he was 'recruiting'. The dog used her leg muscles to propel her quickly through the forest, feeling bushes brush her auburn fur as she ran. The fresh wind blew along her, ruffling her pelt. Her dark eyes gleamed with excitement; prey could be found here. Soon, she stopped, discovering a slightly mushy area of ground. Her paws sank into the dark mud, but she didn't care. She stomped around in it almost joyfully, listening to the squelching sound between her toes.
Poe was laying near the fountain for quite some time. The black retriever had actually fallen asleep. The pensive dog finally woke and jumped to his paws, slightly startled that no one had woken him. With a small, disdainful huff, he began to walk around the building. His long, feathered tail tip almost dragged on the ground. He sniffed along the backside of the building, then lifted his leg and peed. After he was done, he carried on in search of something to be interested in.

His tail flagged out behind him, sprawling on the wood. The grooves sang on his footpads, painful and chiding, creating galloping marks. He looked up. "Want to go hunt?"
