If you could pick any warrior cat from the original series by Erin Hunter, which one would you pick as your favorite? Which one do you feel most connected to? Btw, sorry the background/style of this pole is so bland!
My favorite warrior cat is the second life of Cinderpelt - Cinderheart. As you know (if you have read the series), [Cinderpaw] always wanted to train to be a warrior. However, when [Tigerheart] *unintentionally injured [Cinderpaw] by "forcing" her onto the Thunderpath instead of Bluestar (*[Tigerheart] is such a foxheart...), she was struck by a monster and ended up permanentally crippled. After that, she had to train as a medicine cat instead. If you've read the series beyodn this point, then you know she ended up dying but ended up being resurrected again as Cinderheart. She ended up falling in love with Lionblaze, but after Jayfeather was mistakenly told by Yellowfang to tell her she was once Cinderpelt (and he did), she was so lost... Eventually she realized who she was in her second life - Cinderheart - and she became Lionblaze's mate.
Anyway, sorry to keep you reading! I feel most connected to Cinderheart because she was given a second chance. More than that, there was something almost inspiring about how strong her spirit was - to be born again as another cat and become a warrior and have kits. I felt so much emotion throughout her second life (as she did), and, idk, it brought me almost as much emotion as when Graystripe lost Silverstream. (And yes, I'm a guy. No shame in having a heart.) I was so happy for her when she got the life her heart - and soul - always wanted.
So, who is your favorite cat from the warriors series, and why?

Tigerstar is my absolute favorite. Every book needs a good antagonist and Tigerstar is that and more. I find his tricks impressive and clever and (call me evil) but I thought it was funny when cats fell for his traps. Tigerstar is intimidating as well as commanding. I can really see his view on certain points. I don't think Tigerstar is a villain, I just think his points are misunderstood. When he says 'no half clan cats' I can see where he gets that from because cats shouldn't have mates in other clan's. Tigerstar isn't evil, he just wants to make the Clans the best they can be by following the rules set for them. Now killing half clan cats was a bit overboard, but someone could easily suggest banishing them instead. If Tigerstar really wanted, leave them a scar or two to think about. It's just how you approach matters with the characters. It you only attempt to stop them with no exceptions, they are going to try to do the same with you. They need to feel like their ideas are heard and acknowledged. Tigerstar was only trying to help his Clan and prove to them that even though his father turned into a kittypet, he can bring ThunderClan to the best it can be. So I blame Firestar for all the deaths lol.
