I really love her, she's my second favorite next to Hollyleaf, and Cinderpelt is probably one of the most mature cats throughout the entire series.

I love her, she's a great cat. Even if she was ordered not to go to the thunderpath she still did and because she did that she changed the clans and helped Firestar become leader, but sadly it cost her a leg. I would have loved it if she actually got reborn and not possess Cinderheart.

I love her, imo one of the best cats, and I don't care much for that drama with Cinderheart. I also prefer her with Firestar.

Im likely the only person who is neutral-dislike. Honestly Erins tried to make her too likeable. Giving her sob story - she broke her leg and never became warrior. Thats okay, but the fact that made her be in love with Firestar is just driving up the wall.

Thats okay, but the fact that made her be in love with Firestar is just driving up the wall. Her feelings for Firestar was implied when she was still an apprentice, it happened before the accident. Also she never really acted on her feelings for him either, I don't think the Erins were really trying to make her likeable. Now Star Flower...she's another case.

I was fine with her. But the FirestarXCinderpelt ship made everything absolutely terrible

Cinderpelt was actually really mature about it, unlike Leafpool, and she kept those feelings hidden. She even encouraged Firestar to be with Sandstorm. Medicine cats are allowed to have feelings for someone. They're just not allowed to act upon those feelings. And Cinderpelt was really mature about it, even trying to warn Leafpool to be careful. This is why she is such a popular character. Because Cinderpelt tried to reason with Leafpool, and kept her feelings to herself. What's even better is that she wasn't obsessive with Firestar like Spottedleaf was, which is why I don't have a problem with her. Other than her feelings being rushed, I think Cinderpelt is a well-written character.

We wanna make a character everyone loves.

I like her, but I hate what they did with her regarding the whole posession plotline. It was stupid and I felt like they were showing her special treatment by doing that.

I'm actually re-reading the original with my younger brother, he loves Yellowfang, and I'm here thinking, "Boy you got a storm coming" cause I'm so salty they ruined her later on, so badly.
