I made a similar thread on the old forums i think, but...
What would happen if i dropped a required class due to a bad grade? I know I'll get a W (for withdrawal) on my record and not an F (which is what im getting for anthropology and possible astronomy as well). Anthropology is require and Astronomy isn't. I plan on transferring from community college to the university. and i know you guys probably cant help with specifics, but i need other opinions, for i am talking to my counselor on thursday, which is the last day to withdrawal from classes with a W and not an F.
This is my second full year at community college and im almost certain i need to grad this year to transfer but im not sure....

): well if there's no other options to bring your grade up, it sounds like the best idea. of course the other school you want to go to will probably ask why you withdrew and things like that, which might not be great. and if you need to graduate this year to transfer.... sounds like a really tough position ): maybe they offer online classes? summer/spring classes? i don't know. i hope everything works out for you <3

Well, it MIGHT affect your GPA, depending on what your college's limitations are on that. And if it's required of your major, you'll have to retake the class. Definitely talk with your adviser/counselor about your options. Hope everything works out
