Does anyone like Star Flower?

You're not alone, I still don't like her.

I'm actyally one of the very few people that like her.

Also can I tell something in her defense?

Everyone seems to be like "oh well when your dad wants you to trick a cat into loving you you are just as bad as him!" but think about it. As far as we know her family died when she was young, and I doubt that she had any motherly figure in her life. Her only family was basically One Eye. Kate said that he always acted well to her and that he never showed her the bad part of his if I remember correctly.

And let's pretend that what she said was true, that One Eye suggested it after, not before. You know One Eye is a very interesting villain - he uses suggesting to force his victims into doing certain things. He is basically an evil manipulator. I don't find it surprising that he persuaded Star Flower to do certain things, like trick Thunder, or the fact that she described him as "true ray of light" as he never acted bad to her and she most likely didn't know about most of his schemes.

People say how she babied Clear Sky, but I don't view it like that. She maybe didn't use the best words, but at the end she helped Clear Sky, because nobody needed a leader to mentally break down.

I like how much she tried to prove her loyality to Clear Sky and the rest. Try to look at it from her point of view - she did a wrong decision in following her father who she believed she could trust, and suddenly all cats turned her down. She then tried to regain their trust back, and mostly succeeded. She was a good mate to Clear Sky and good mother to his kits.

So at the end, I think she became a decent character. In times like this it's seriously annoying that Erins don't give POVs to random characters throughout the books.

I don't mind her.

I love Star Flower. My only problem is her "petals" in her eyes, but other than that, she's a great character.
