Here is my newest drawing, a request for someone on the forums. So, any criticism? I want to improve, and I think getting criticism is a good way to help. By the way, I don't normally do bangs on animals.

First off: I love your shading work, like whoah I can't do that.
And second: I'd recommend making a more prominent muzzle as it kind of looks flat faced.

This looks great! The anatomy is very well done, and I love the color pallet as well as the shading you have incorporated into it c: On things that you could possibly improve, I agree with Fading that the muzzle does look flat, which is off-putting because everything else has such wonderful anatomy and shading. Also, the left ear looks like it's turning in the wrong way, so it looks like your cat has got a broken ear... maybe try to turn it out the other way? This next bit varies because I'm not sure if you want to lean towards a more anime/cartoony style (which it looks like) or realistic. If you're wanting to go with realism, you could smooth out the transition from the shoulders to neck, because it looks a little sharp and as if the head and neck were simply pasted on top of the shoulders. Like I said earlier, that's not necessarily a bad thing if you want to go with the popular style of Warriors fan art... but if you'd like to make it more realistic looking that's something I would fix. Overall, it's very well done and shows a lot of potential

The whole thing looks very clean and polished, you did a nice job. As for my criticisms, I would suggest adding shading to the inside of the ear, since it looks a bit odd having shading everywhere else but there. You might also want to consider adding a muzzle that sticks out and make the mouth closer to the nose; idk if that's a stylistic thing but maybe it's something you should consider. The shoulder farthest away shouldn't jut out so much. In reality it would be on the other side of the body. Same with the farthest ear, it shouldn't be angled so that we can see the pink inside. We should be looking at the back of the ear. With the front paw closest to us, the dew claw shouldn't be visible as it's on the other side of the paw. Lastly you might want to try bringing the head forward a little and see if it looks better. The pose is very dynamic, like the cat is jumping out at something or standing it's ground. It feels contrary to have the head be leaning back almost. But that's pretty nit-picky, honestly, the whole drawing looks amazing the way it is. It feels very professional. Good work ^_^

other than the things that other people have mentioned (flat muzzle and ears etc.) i feel that the pose is a bit "off" to me. you have a good grasp on the anatomy, however a few of the legs seem a little awkward here. most notably the furthest back leg, which looks stiff compared to the other 3

That's gorgeous! The only criticism I would have is that yes, the muzzle does look a bit flat, the right ear is pointing the same way as the left ear which is a bit weird, but maybe I'm looking at it wrong, and the part of the bangs going over the eye is transparent. Just a couple little technical things! Overall, beautiful! What's his/her name? Thank you! The part of the bangs going over the eye being transparent is a style thing. I like to colour eyes, so.. The request was to take the requester's human character, Raven, and turn her into an animal. So, the name is Raven.

You should make the face more realistic. It looks flat unless you like it like that.
