Alrighty, here's my entry, then.
Last night I had another nightmare, Except this one was real. And alas I lost myself; I was worth enough to steal.
There was a strange voice that night, And it came and spoke with me. But when I told my parents all they did, Was claim it not reality.
Mom wanted me to see this man, Who wears this nice white coat. He would ask me plenty questions, And the answers he’d take note.
Father said I was doing fine, Asking for attention was all it was. I don’t think my dad was right, He doesn’t think like mother does.
I don’t think like either of them, (Why, I fear I don’t at all.) But I don’t want to stay like this, Seeing shadows up upon the wall.
One time I heard them crying, And I asked if they were okay. It turns out they hadn’t spoke a word, Which left me in disarray.
I told my parents what had happened, They got so confused I had to scream. It might have helped a little bit, If they stopped calling reality a dream.
I don’t act like people do, But I know I am no beast. All I want is to be normal, For just a night, at least.
There are nights I listen to things, That no one else can hear. They tell me I don’t see them, And that I’ve got nothing left to fear.
There was one time my mother caught me, And my forehead she had kissed. She told me things would be okay, So I dropped the metal from my wrist.
They finally took me to see that man, The one in coat of white. He asked me how I felt; I lied and said alright.

Punctuation must be fixed 1. These are run-on sentences(this means you have hooked too many sentences together)

Oops! I tend to do that a lot, in both poetry and conversation. (I love me my commas, that's for sure). I've got that fixed now, though.

Yep. Just made some commas into periods, because that was all there really was to it.

Looks like I did (wasn't much of a contest, sadly). Thanks, though!
