I mean, they didn't even know that Honey, Leaf and Lark weren't their littermates and they knew each other for only few days. How could they from such a bond with each other and not Lilyheart's kits?

Twigkit seemed to care a lot about her mother despite never meeting her.
I'm pretty sure she's going to take interest in her only relative she knows of.

Plus her denmates weren't interested with playing or exploring with Twigkit (I think it had to with her ruining it somehow) and that's why they didn't bond with her. In Violetkit's case at the time it may have been the age gap. (And she actually did briefly forget about Twigkit being her littermate, instead thinking it was Lionkit and Birchkit I think.)
The fact that they were related really helps when you hardly know anyone else and the cats your age won't or can't play with you
