Does anyone know if there's going to be a special Barnes and Noble edition of HJ like there has been for the AVoS books so far?

Yes, there will be a Barnes and Noble edition, which will feature extra chapters. These chapters are just cut out from the middle of the regular book, so one chapter ends with Hawkwing being attacked by Scourge, and the next chapter begins with him falling off of a hedge, carrying a stolen kit.

Not sure. I am going to Barnes and Noble to get my edition of HJ during the weekend, so if there is a special barnes and noble edition I could tell you.
