Finn sighed heavily and settled down in his seat, "Whatever, I think this will end up being my nap time instead of science. Sounds a whole lot more appealing to me." He said with a small chuckle, completely ignoring the teacher who was talking about something to do with explosions. You'd think that that subject would get his attention, but it failed. "I'll probably just turn in the safety waver thingy so I can do lab work and not worry about the syllabus, my parents prefer to keep the dang things anyways in case they need to chew out the teacher at some point. You would think having two lawyers for parents would come in handy, but it doesn't, at all."

Gabby had split from the others, suddenly noting that she wasn't sharing any other classes with her friends this year. At least she didn't think she was. It was a depressing thought and, as she sat listening to the english teacher read off the classroom rules, she couldn't help a sigh. It was going to be a rather quiet year without her friends to pester her in class, which might be a good thing. It would certainly make it easier to focus. However, she couldn't bring herself to listen anyways and ended up doodling in her notebook and waiting for the bell to ring. It didn't matter, it wasn't like they ever did anything the first day back.

Skaiste smiled as she sighed lightly at her friends. "What is it with you guys sleeping in class? You know that that won't help your grade, right?" She said before turning back around as the teacher started talking. Science was her favorite subject, and she wasn't about to get in trouble for not paying attention.

Finn rolled his eyes at Skaiste and shook his head lightly, "Oh please, when am I ever going to use this crap? Besides, you're gonna help my grade!" he said with a small chuckle as she turned around and tuned into the teacher. Reluctantly, he turned his own attention vaguely onto the teacher as he started talking about something that was already way over Finn's head. For now, Finn would just wait for the class to end so he could go to English with Skaiste, the only subject that he was actually not too bad at, he just didn't have any motivation to do the essays and other projects that were longer than a page or ones that he had to follow a prompt.
