(72 minutes each then 35 for lunch 7:30 - 2:30 )
Once Finn actually realized that Gabby was heading to classes, he trotted after he to catch up quickly. He walked slightly behind her to class since he wasn't paying attention to where he was going but he was glad to see her turn into a classroom and pick a pair of seat by the window. Perfect for him to daydream out of. Sure, he needed to get his GPA up, like, now, but Finn really had no motivation and in his mind, it really didn't matter yet. Gabby would probably tell him otherwise though. She was usually was the Mom of the group for whatever reason.

I went to a school with only four classes a day but they changed every other day. then again it was an all girl catholic private school lol we had like class then a kind of break in the form of homeroom a class then break for snacks, then class and then lunch and then class then we leave. that was just my senior year tho]
Artemisia looked at her phone as she looked at her schedule. "So my whole schedule is English, science, PE, Latin, lunch, discrete math, history, music, and then I have study hall." Artie looked at Skai confused as she dragged her off but remembered her pillow in her bag that helped her sleep on the bus. "Skai, I have to go to my locker. I have my pillow in my bag." She was too tired to fight the other girl but she did take her headphones off her head and turned up the volume, the song Divide blasting from the accessory causing people to stare in their direction.

As Finn sat, Gabby turned towards him again, raising an eyebrow, "I forgot to ask, did you forget the history assignment too?" Her straight face didn't give away that she was just messing with him this time. It was far too easy to entertain herself in this way every so often and she couldn't deny that it never failed to be funny. At least for her anyways. Those on the receiving end certainly wouldn't agree.

Finn looked over at Gabby with an eyebrow raised, though his rather bored expression didn't change. Instead, he just dropped in his head on his desk roughly and groaned, "I'm getting held back this year....." he sighed. He had no idea it Gabby was messing with him or not. At this point, the girls had to have known that he was pretty gullible. Surely, Gabby knew by now.

(ack, sorry about that massive poof, mates)
Gabby shrugged, a small smirk working its way across her face. He was far too easy, she couldn't help it sometimes. He set himself up for these little pranks time and time again. Reaching over, she gave him a soft pat on the head, ruffling his hair, "I'm sure it'll work out."

(it's okay amber)
Finn didn't even bother trying to find out if she was only joking, though it wouldn't be all that surprising if she were. He grumbled something along the lines of hacking the school's network again as she ruffled his dark brown hair. "Yeah, I'll bet. I was serioius about saying I might drop out. I mean, I'm a complete idiot and it's only sophomore year. It only gets harder from here and I'm already at rock bottom." He spoke more or less to himself, basically just needing to hear himself think, literally, hence the reason he spoke aloud.

Skaiste gave a heavy sigh, before veering off down the next hallway towards Artie's locker. "We have to be quick, class starts in a minute and we don't put new teacher thinking that it'll happen all year." Despite her words, she gave her friend a small reassuring smile as they hurried down the hall.
(Sorry this is short, on a road trip.)

Gabby frowned, slowly withdrawing her hand. The year hadn't even started yet and he was thinking that he couldn't make it. That simply wouldn't do, she knew he could do it. Tapping the desk beside his head to get his attention, Gabby leaned towards him, "I'll tutor you, you know I'm not letting you drop out."

Finn was the 'do or die' type. And he was thinking that if he could do it last year, he'd just die instead. Not literally of course. He didn't really lift his head to look at Gabby, he just turned it to look at the sideways girl. "You'd better not, and I'd appreciate that, seriously. Most of the stuff they taught last year never made any sense to me. Maybe it'll be different... who knows!"

Gabby smiled, about to continue their conversation, then heard the familiar clicking of the teacher's heels as she walked into the room. Giving Finn one last encouraging look, she turned to face the front of the classroom with notebook out and pencil at the ready. She was going to ace this class so hard, it wouldn't even see her coming.

sorry I'm dealing with some stuff on my rp]
Artemisia nodded and rushed over to her locker. She opened it, took out the pillow she had in her bag, and stuffed it into the locker. Closing it, she turned to her friend and yawned into her hand. "I'm ready now," she told her, walking towards the class they had together at a slow pace. Her feet dragged on ground showing how sleepy she was as she practically tripped over nothing.

Surprisingly, Finn felt pretty good about the first day of History. Granted they did basically nothing, but the way the teacher explained it, it almost sounded easy. And on top of that, he gave out task sheets for the entire semester which was a total perk. That would allow Finn to get ahead so he wouldn't fall behind later like he typically did toward the end of the year. Of course, he had Gabby as well, she would absolutely be a huge help. He couldn't help but wonder what he would do without these girls, even if he was the only guy in their little group, he had to admit they were pretty great.

Skaiste nodded and began hurrying back towards class, before realizing that Artemisia was falling behind. Waiting a moment for her to catch up, she lightly grabbed her arm as she began rushing down the hall, half to pull her friend along and half to stop her from falling. As they turned the corner into their classroom's hallway, the light ring of the school's bell sounded. Sucking in her breath, Skai ran the rest of the way to the classroom, impatiently rocking back and forth on her heels as she waited for Artie at the door.

Artemisia groaned as she jogged after Skaiste in order not to be that late to class. She yawned as she slowed down as she walked through the door and took her seat at her desk. Almost instantly she let her head fall onto her desk with a slight thud as she curled her arms around her face. Within a matter of seconds she was back asleep.

Skaiste followed Artemisia in and took a seat behind her, giving a low sigh when she saw her friend already asleep. Sitting up a bit straighter, she bega listening to the teacher as they went over what they would learn that year, what they needed for class, and what to review. When it was a minute before the bell Skaiste reached over and gave Artie a few taps on her shoulder, hoping she would awake before class was over.

Artemisia groaned loudly causing several people to look at her but she didn't notice. "Is class over already?" she asked, yawning as she rubbed her eyes. She looked around groggily and noticed that class was still occurring and hung her head a bit as she closed her eyes again. "I'm too tired for this. Wake me up for breakfast." Her voice was replaced by soft breathing sounds as she went back into a sort of half sleep.

Finn was casually waiting for either lunch or for the next class he had with either Skaiste or Artie, it didn't matter which he girl to be honest, he loved them all. But he if he had to choose one to hang out with before lunch, he'd probably pick Skai because she was actually awake enough to talk to. No hard feelings, he just wasn't the one sided conversation type. Didn't he have science with Gabby and Skai? He couldn't remember, he would just have to show up and see who was there.

Skaiste rolled her eyes just as the bell began to ring. "Artie, class is over, so unless you want to hear Mrs. Montcroix's lecture again, I suggest you pack up." Swinging her bag over her shoulder, she collected her few notebooks and folders she had out before leaving the room, hoping Artemisia got up in time for her next class. Looking at her schedule, she began heading to the room where her science class was held.

Finn was honestly counting on having homework after today. Yeah, it was the first day, but it was also highschool, so he would be surprised if he didn't have any tonight. He said goodbye to Gabby after he gathered his things then left the room at a leisurely pace. The science rooms weren't far away from his history class, so he took his time in getting there. Even then he was one of the first people to show up. He stood around for a moment, thinking about where he wanted to sit before he choose the back of the room given his height - people behind him probably wouldn't be able to see so he was being nice in a way! Sitting down, he slipped his back pack onto the floor and rested his head on the desk in front of him while he waited for the room to fill up and class to start.

Entering the science classroom, Skaiste spotted where Finn was sitting and headed toward the back. Taking the seat in front of him, she stuffed her bag under her seat before turning back. "How'd first period go?" She asked, though assumed it was uneventful as usual. Sometimes she really wished something interesting would happen at the school.

Artemisia sat up but noticed that Skaiste had left her which jolted her awake. It was rare for her to wake up fully before lunch but now she was as she hurriedly grabbed her bag and rushed over to science which was her next class. "You left me," Artie whined with no hint of grogginess in her voice. She brushed a few strands of hair from her face and got out her things for her class as she got the desk next to Finn. "But now I feel wide awake and not at all ready to be," she said with a laugh.

Finn looked up as he heard somebody sit down in the desk in front of him and he was glad to see that it was none other than Skaiste. What a relief. He shrugged lightly to answer her question, "Fine, I guess. We didn't do anything aside from the syllabus. I don't understand why they hand those out sometimes." he muttered, already having lost his first wind of the day and was waiting for his second. He turned his head to look at Artemisia as she sat down next to him, "You're strangely alive for this time of day." he commented.

Skaiste sighed and held up the last page of the syllabus they had just received. "You're supposed to get your parents to sign it." She said, before turning to Artemisia and giggling. "Glad you finally are, and made it here on time." She was glad Artie was starting to get back into a normal school routine, versus sleeping to noon in the summertime.

Finn raised an eyebrow at Skaiste's syllabus before looking at his own with a small huff. "Well that's dumb." he grumbled. His parents were upset enough with him for not wanting to play any sports, but now he's turning out to be pretty bad at school in general. Finn's parents always practically required a syllabus to know what their son was doing in school and to meddle in any way they could - though they tended to call it 'helping'.

Skaiste smiled, nodding her head slightly in agreement. "I know. I mean, it's not like our parents are gonna pull us outta the class because of something it says in here." She waved the syllabus for emphasis before tuking it back onto her folder. "Plus, who actually reads all of these?".

"My parents read everything and complain about stuff but don't actually do anything about it," Artemisia told them as she ignored their comments on her being awake. She took out her own syllabus and set it on her books so that she won't forget to turn it in. "I wonder if we are going to do experiments in this class."
