~Darkenedstar~

Large, pitch black tom with dark blue eyes. Darkenedstar was a hardened leader. He was tough, he was firm, and he had little compassion. During his leadership, ShadowClan was unforgiving and made no effort to gain any favors from the other Clans. Darkenedstar, himself, hated to attend gatherings. He had no room for weakness and he taught his Clan to be strong or be forgotten, compassion is for the weak. The only cat he ever loved was his mate Silverwind. She was wild and feisty and was the only one to break his cold exterior.
Darkenedstar's greatest conflict began when he had kits: Moonstar and Bateyes. Even though the two became great warriors and respected cats throughout the Clans, it did not start off that way. He favored Moonstar and her drive for ShadowClan. He saw her great potential; however, they did have different views on how ShadowClan should interact with the other Clans. Eventually, he made his daughter his deputy and she succeeded him in leadership. His son, Bateyes, was born blind and would forever be blind. This didn't sit well with Darkenedstar. He saw Bateyes' blindness as weakness; yet, as a father, he could not leave his son in the nursery or the medicine den. Therefore, he entrusted his deputy, Kinkclaw, to train Bateyes, like he trusted the young prodigy warrior, Bloodmoon, to train Moonstar. A moon later, it was brought to his attention that Kinkclaw was getting nowhere with Bateyes' training as Kinkclaw did not believe a blind cat could be made into a warrior. The only one in ShadowClan to argue otherwise was Bloodmoon, so Darkenedstar gave both of his kits to Bloodmoon to train. To this day, he believes it was the greatest choice he could have ever made. He never had the best relationship with Bateyes, but Darkenedstar couldn't be prouder of him. He lost his last life to an illness that could've been cured, but he was too stubborn to take the herbs. What no one knows, however, is that he let himself die on purpose, because he knew ShadowClan needed Moonstar more than they needed him.



~Moonstar~

Night black she-cat with deep blue eyes. Around her right eye is a crescent moon of white fur. Moonstar was a strong and fearless leader of ShadowClan. She grew to be respected and even feared by other Clans and raised ShadowClan to a powerhouse amongst the forest. She played her cards carefully and brought compassion back into ShadowClan. If she saw a situation she could gain from, she took advantage of it. Moonstar once led ShadowClan into battle against rogues that had captured Sunningrocks. RiverClan and ThunderClan had come to her to ask for help. When the rogues were defeated. Moonstar welcomed their leader into ShadowClan when he humbled himself before her. None of the other Clans protested. Moonstar also began a lasting alliance between ShadowClan and RiverClan. One that continued on after her death when Darkstar, then later Northstar became leaders of ShadowClan. It ended when RiverClan betrayed ShadowClan.
Moonstar was born the daughter of Darkenedstar and Silverwind. Her brother is the blind warrior Bateyes. She was mentored by Bloodmoon and she schemed to get Bloodmoon made as her brother's mentor as well. Her best friend and future deputy was Lostraven. Moonstar a strong heart for ShadowClan and wanted to see it become great; however, as a young warrior she caught the eye of Closeheart, a SkyClan warrior. Moonstar began sneaking out of camp to see him and she thought he loved her. When she was chosen to become ShadowClan's deputy, Moonstar knew she had to cut off her association with Closeheart and he didn't take it very well. He became cold and spoke ill of her often. It was Moonstar's dear friend, Blizzardstorm, medicine cat of ShadowClan who informed her that she was expecting kits when she didn't even realize it herself. She admitted her crimes of loving Closeheart to Blizzardstorm and he kept her secret. Moonstar told Closeheart the news and she hoped he would have taken the kits, but he abandoned her and their kits, wanting nothing to do with them. Moonstar and Blizzardstorm hid the news from ShadowClan for as long as they could and during that time period, Darkenedstar lost his final life. Moonstar became the leader of ShadowClan with SkyClan kits in her belly.
She gave birth to three sons: Jaggedclaw, Darkshadow, and Tigerfrost. She never told the Clan who their father was, but she did tell her kits and she warned them to never speak with Closeheart. Jaggedclaw was the only one to try and he regretted it soon afterwards. The three grew to be strong and recognized warriors of ShadowClan. Moonstar led her Clan through great trials and always overcame. As time went on, she came to realize that Closeheart had never loved her and it was by the actions of Blizzardstorm that she realized he did. Blizzardstorm kept her secret, was a father to her kits, and was always her rock, but as a medicine cat he could never love her, and Moonstar had the plight of never being able to love him in return. They both kept to the code and remained the closest of friends.
Moonstar lost most of her lives while out on a solo night hunt. She was ambushed by the RiverClan traitor: Blackadder and his rogues. She put up a good fight and even killed a couple of the rogues, but Blackadder managed to bite her neck and he didn't let go until all of Moonstar's lives were used up. Her death greatly effected ShadowClan, but she guided them and continues to guide them from the stars. Moons later, Blizzardstorm died of old age and the two finally became mates in StarClan.
When the Dark Forest rose up, Moonstar led StarClan against them. She rallied the warrior ancestors to aid the living Clans; however, during the battle for the Moonstone, Moonstar was taken prisoner by Blackadder, leader of the Dark Forest. There, she discovered that her old mentor: Bloodmoon, was a part of the Dark Forest. Moonstar was able to escape with the help of Nightsky of SkyClan. Bloodmoon covered their escape by fighting Blackadder when the dark tom came for Moonstar. Bloodmoon was killed. After that, Moonstar led StarClan into taking back the Moonstone and she sent signs to all the Clans that it was time to end AdderClan and the Dark Forest once and for all. She was on the battlefield when the Clans faced AdderClan and the Dark Forest. To this day, Moonstar still watches out for all Clans and not just ShadowClan. (Moonpower). 


~Bateyes~
A jet black tom with pitch black, blind eyes. Bateyes is calm, wise, and grew to be a strong senior warrior for ShadowClan. He is the first blind cat in Rp history and his skills have been recognized throughout the Clans.
He was born to Darkenedstar and Silverwind and no one believed he could become a warrior except for his sister: Moonstar. Even as a kit, warriors of ShadowClan thought he would be better off as a medicine cat. Yet, Bateyes' true dream was to become a great fighter like his father. He was given Kinkclaw, deputy of ShadowClan, as his mentor; however, Kinkclaw only saw weakness in him and didn't even bother to train him. At every turn, Kinkclaw discouraged Bateyes' of his dream. Bateyes would've given into the doubts about himself if it weren't for his sister. Moonstar schemed to get Bateyes out of Kinkclaw's mentorship and into the mentorship of her mentor: Bloodmoon. Bloodmoon had a passion for training apprentices, even at his young age. When he was presented the challenge of training Bateyes, he accepted wholeheartedly and he grew to be the only warrior in ShadowClan who believed that Bateyes could become a warrior. Darkenedstar eventually agreed and with Bloodmoon as his mentor, Bateyes slowly began to find his confidence and skill as a warrior. It took longer than any normal apprentice, but he was soon battling like his black eyes could see every move his opponent made. Warriors from other Clans tried to take advantage of Bateyes' blindness, but he proved himself to be a dangerous opponent and his reputation amongst the other Clans began to grow.
Bateyes was actually almost killed by a fox within ShadowClan territory. He and Bloodmoon were tracking it and Bateyes got overwhelmed with different scents that he didn't scent the fox flanking him from the side. The fox would've killed him had Bloodmoon not gotten in the way. They were able to chase the fox off the territory; however, Bloodmoon died of his wounds afterwards. Bateyes grieved more than any other member of ShadowClan. Not only did he owe Bloodmoon his warriorship, but now he owed Bloodmoon his life.
Growing up, Bateyes had always had a crush on Lostraven, his sister's best friend and eventually deputy of ShadowClan. It took many moons and much courage on his part for him to finally confess his feelings for her. She reciprocated and the two happily became mates. She later had his kits: Aurablaze, Batflight, and Loneraven, but Bateyes never got to meet them. They were being the born the same time Bateyes met his fate. He and his patrol were ambushed by the deadly Blackadder and his rogues while checking the borders. Blackadder used dirty tricks to screw up Bateyes' senses and Bateyes was killed. He watched over his mate, kits, and Clan from StarClan. When the Dark Forest rose up, Bateyes lost Lostraven again in the battle for the Moonstone. He pleaded with the other members of StarClan to give her another chance at life and she was reincarnated as Opalmist, medicine cat of ShadowClan. Bateyes always looked forward to seeing her again; hoping that when she rejoined the ranks of StarClan, she would remember him. However, he watched her break her vows as a medicine cat in the way she had kits with Frostyfoot of SkyClan. He never felt more betrayed and he doesn't watch over her anymore. (Moonpower)


(I should probably redo Jaggedclaw, Darkshadow, and Tigerfrost too, but these three took me so long, that I'm not going to spend anymore time on updating forms tonight. XD)

Hailkit: a pure cream-colored tom with his father’s golden eyes. Hailkit is desperate to please, and always focused on the goal he has set for himself. As the son of Stormfury, he is often worried that the clan doesn’t think he truly belongs there. Hailkit is willing to go out of his way to try and prove himself to the clan and it may sometimes lead to him being seen as dishonest and in some situations unlikable. He was born in the aftermath of the fire, at the beginning of a very harsh leaf-bare. His parents are Cherryvine and Stormfury and his littermates are Pinekit, Featherkit and Mistkit. (Willow)

Mistkit: pure dark grey she-kit with yellow-green eyes. She has a lithe build, which comes from her Windclan blood from Stormfury. She is funny and always tries to crack jokes to lift people’s spirits. She has a contagious happiness about her. She is rather soft though and her feelings are hurt very easily. She often runs from her problems and avoids the people that have hurt her in order to not get hurt again. She is very curious about her family in Windclan and longs to close with them. Her parents are Cherryvine and Stormfury and her littermates are Pinekit, Featherkit and Hailkit. She is named after her kin Softmist and Mistyflower. (Willow)

Description: A chimera tom, meaning his pelt consists of bi-colored fur. The left side of his body is all black while on the right side his pelt is a moderately light shade of brown detailed with white splotches and swirls; both end in a perfect split division down the middle stretching from muzzle to tail, giving him a striking appearance. His left eye is a magnificent sky blue and his right eye is a bright shade of amber. He has an overall lithe frame under his relatively fluffy fur that includes a long bushy tail and nimble legs.
Personality: Halfpaw often exhibits a demeanor of wisdom that is typically only found in the most senior of warriors or even that of elders. Combined with his incredibly high intellect and this makes him nothing short of a master wordsmith. While mature well beyond his age when the time requires it, he can also be slightly eccentric as well - a pretty drastic contract to his usual personality - and thus can also be described as "interesting", "charismatic", or even "whimsical", with the more youthful side of his personality fueled by his thirst for adventure. Regardless of whatever image of himself he chooses to put out there, what does remain consistent is his fierce loyalty towards his Clan. Perhaps as a direct consequence of this he has through choice developed an intense and burning hatred towards outsiders, honestly believing their existence to be "offensive" and even dangerous to everything that it means to be a Clan cat, and considers the five Clans, and especially SkyClan, to be above all else in terms of importance, excluding StarClan themselves. Despite his flaws he is genuinely a kind tom at heart, just one that feels like he has a lot to prove despite having the privilege of being Clanborn.

Other: Son of Sparrowstrike and Splashecho. Brother to Springpaw, Twigpaw, and Flyingpaw. || Through hearing stories of the terrors that the Dark Forest brought upon the Clans in recent memory, Halfpaw has developed a strange fascination with them, perhaps as a result of his own ambitions. They may be out of his reach in his dreams, but he knows they are out there, somewhere... He reasons that either they can be tamed, or that they will one day return and destroy them all.
Codeword: 1) Please no excessive quantities of kits; general limit is up to 4. 2) No super powers, cats with wings that puke rainbows, none of that nonsense. Please keep your characters realistic! 3) Respect is of the utmost importance around here. Ignore this rule and there will be consequences.


(Footnote: I've edited this character about a dozen times but I think I'm finally happy with where I've left him.  Let me know if I have to shorten or better summarize his personality!)

Meowdy friends, I was thinking about adding another character! Do I need to just make a new post here with a new form? Also are any of the Clans specifically NOT in need of certain ranks (ie. say, RiverClan has too many apprentices)? Thank youuuu! :3

Hey, Thistle! I just wanted to let you know that there is already a Paleeyes in the Clans. Would you consider changing your character's name to something else? You can still have the Pale prefix, but to avoid confusion, it might be best to change the suffix

(Does anyone know who the mentor to Halfpaw will be? I'll probably start roleplaying and introduce him at the beginning of a training session or bright and early in the morning waiting for his mentor or something; whatever works with y'all really.)
