Hey guys I just wanted to tell you guys something.
DON'T SCARE CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKERS I know it's tempting but please don't do it, we put up with enough crap daily.
Last year around this time a customer in the drive through thought it would be a good idea to get out of his friends car and jump at me at the window to scare me. It was 9PM and extremely dark outside.
I LEGIT thought I was going to die and had a really bad panic attack in front of my coworkers. The guys didn't even apologize when my coworker said that what he did wasn't okay. and the friend that was driving got mad at US because we told them it wasn't okay to do that.
so let me say again. DO NOT SCARE CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKERS honestly you shouldn't scare anyone unless you know them and they have expressed that they are okay with getting scared. Panic and anxiety attacks are NOT fun and nobody likes to think they are about to die.
This has been a PSA.

lol yeah it sucked. I still get really nervous going on window at night especially around this time of year.
Also a few weeks ago someone told us that a guy with a hatchet was walking around outside so that was fun. I was scared I was gonna get my arm chopped off when I was handing out drinks. Later that night when we closed and were leaving at like 11pm I saw him walking into Carl's Jr. across the street.... RIP them. Don't worry, I had told a cop that was in the drive through about the guy right after I was told about him.
But yeah. Stay safe kids.

customer service is usually on the phone/internet/etc., i think op meant service workers in general
but yeah this is v important. i have the luxury of not rly having to deal w that since i work retail but yeah, generally just don't be an a-hole?? i get that it's Halloween & it's funny and most people won't be bothered by it which is fine, but i wouldn't care for being jumped out at and i certainly wouldn't know what to do if somebody tried to pull an elaborate prank like that. just don't do it in public places it's not okay
