I noticed as I am reading OotS, a lot of cats have been jealous of their siblings in this arc.
Blossomfall was jealous of Briarlight Ivypool was jealous of Dovewing
I am sure I am missing more, but it's become really cliché and I can understand why some people would dislike the use of jealousy for the sake of developing the characters.
It's become very predictable for this arc, and I really hope that the Erins will be more creative for AVOS. But I will say that I am definitely pleased with the series so far.
I just wish jealousy wasn't used so often in Warriors. While it can give their characters development, it makes the writing too easy to figure out. Either the character will go insane (Ashfur) or that character will mature and move on (Ivypool) and get over it.
Now I know a lot of people can relate to jealousy, including myself, but that doesn't mean you should overdo it so often. It's okay, in my opinion, to write down at least one character who's jealous of the other, but writing more than one about jealousy just becomes predictable at this point.

I don't Blossomfall was jealous of Briarlight, she just wanted attention from her mother. Therefore it's not cliche. I'm pretty sure there was never a sibling jealousy before.

Eh, I don't really like the word cliché since nothing is really entirely original considering that literature has literally been around for thousands of years. That said however, I do agree that it is being overdone, especially in this series, which is why I've become annoyed with it. That, and I feel like it could be written better.

That was like.. a theme in Oots. Cats struggling for attention within the clan. It's how the dark forest manipulated cats. It's not cliché, it's a plot element.
