I hate how my family thinks they know my friends, just because they have talked to them a couple of times. They don't know my friends. They just know the polite side of them, not their true self. This bothers me because I have this one friend I don't really like (we're not even friends anymore tbh) and my family always defends her because she's "nice". No, she's only fake nice to their faces. If she acted and talked the way she acts around me they wouldn't feel the same way. But for some reason they adore her even though they've only had a few brief conversations with her and they always take her side over mine because she's "nice."
And then I tell them the truth time and time again about how she really is and they say I'm making the whole thing up or they still defend her! Or they just say, "Oh well I still like her." When they don't even know her!
