There are a lot of individualistic RPGs, forums, etc. that are hard to come across unless advertised. This website an easy outlet to use for new developers or otherwise unknown ones who are members of or who have heard of this website, though what one wished to advertise would probably need to be pre-approved, and there would also need to be a limit against how much one posted and how frequently.
I know this is a stupid suggestion, because there might be loopholes or flaws to this idea that I'm not aware of, but I figured I might as well try out of sympathy for these hardworking people and their endeavors. A lot of the individual websites — 'Tamer Animals' tameranimals-rpg.net , 'Incandescence' incandescencex.com , etc. — have alliance pages, which is benificial for everyone, so I think that'd be preferable for the WCRF.
Given my luck, though, all this will probably be impossible.

I really don't think it's necessary. If people want to advertise their roleplays or website, they are welcome to do so in their signatures. Those roleplay sites are run very differently than they are ran here We don't have sister sites, or affiliations, and I'm not eager to change it, but I can't say the same for Roswell.

I thought advertising was against the rules. Or perhaps I remembered wrong. I personally think the sister site/affiliation thingies are cute, you know? They give sites an artist's touch. Just 'cute', though. That doesn't mean anything.

Well, on the other hand, it'd be pretty nice to have a seperate board for all that stuff. On the OTHER OTHER hand, however, that might discourage people from posting their sites, just because. I don't have any explanation for it; I just know from personal experience that a seperate board makes it seem like too much effort to post.

i feel like the more boards we add, the more cluttered it could turn out to be. If you want to advertise something, put it in your signature or mood. You could also have it as a website link in your profile.
