I hope that's a joke right? WTF Firefern and Echosong!? THOSE ARE LIKE MY TWO FAVORITES I'M SO UPSET.
Shocked to see Fallowfern return, but I thought Sandynose was already there? I probably confused him for Sagenose. xP
Overall Hawkwing's Journey was a great book. Although it's sad so many cats died, I think it's fairly written (besides the manga) and suspenseful. -------------- Skyclan Allegiance after Manga: Leader: Leafstar Deputy: Hawkwing Med Cat: n/a Warriors: Sparrowpelt - (he's still there, right?) Magyver Tinycloud - (she's still there too, right?) Sagenose Plumwillow Rabbitleap - (he's still there, right?) Sandynose Harrybrook - (did he return with Echo?) Blossomheart Bellaleaf Apprentices: Dewpaw Finpaw Reedpaw Elders: Fallowfern ----------- Okay so all the cats with the cool names died and all the cats with horrible names lived? Gtg
Also I hope some of the other cats find their way back like Clovertail, Birdwing, Nettlesplash, Mintfur, and Cloudmist.
The reason I asked if Sparrowpelt, Tinycloud, and Rabbitleap were still there is because they were mentioned to be with the group but never mentioned to have died or left so idk...
I have so many questions and thoughts. I NEED the Shattered Sky. Dx

Also, I thought the book would destroy Hawkwing/Dovewing. However, it's stronger than ever!
Hawkwing shows interest in moving on and getting another mate. As well, Hawkwing seems very compatible with Dovewing. He's loyal to his Clan though, so Dovewing would have to move to SkyClan. As well, Hawkwing deserves to be happy with a mate and kits he can raise as his own. If the new team is so obsessed with the mate shuffle, they could use Dovewing to keep it going.
Also, Dovewing was been with a deputy before, so she could be with one again. |

Yep, all those cats are still there, and okay.
RIP Firefern and Echosong though. They were my favourites as well.

This was so sad and heartbreaking to read. But at the same time it feels like I'm reading a story about a phoenix. From those ashes SkyClan will become strong again. This book felt like a "weeding out" type of method, notice how much their numbers have dropped. I know it's not right to say this, but this may be a good thing because I doubt the other four clans would accept so many cat moving in by the lake. This also showed who was loyal and who wasn't, separating them from the daylight warriors, and also cats that wanted to live the life of kittypets for good. There's no turning back, and now they have a new line to go by now that they're rebuilding their clan again. I do feel bad for them, that's twice now that SkyClan has scattered, yikes. So many deaths, Firefern was one of my fav, darn...And since Dove x Hawk is now on the table...I'm very interested tbh. This would be interesting because didn't the Erin's say they'll be a new cat or something like that. Also I'm sure ThunderClan will try and help them settle in, so maybe some cats get sent over and Dovewing ends up staying.
On another note, some things I predicted and got right:
Dark Tail pretending to want to join SkyClan and taking over that way
Pebblepaw/shine and Hawkwing becoming a thing
Billystorm and Sharpclaw both kicking the bucket
Hawkwing not being a medicine cat
Ebonyclaw not making it to the lake
Bunch of deaths and unloyal furballs
Hawkwing being Violet and Twig's father
SkyClan returning to the other clans by the lake |

Wow, this was quite sad... Especially for those that bonded with Skyclan… But it's starting to make sense, because they're starting to return to the older version of the warrior code (not living in isolation, being more cautious around other cats, and rejecting the life of the kittypet…). They are to who they once were, even if it means being scattered…
Had a feeling Hawkwing would not get to the lake… Otherwise there would be no third book in the fifth series… But now Twigpaw’s and Violetpaw’s parents are confirmed… I wonder if they'll have a dilemma between staying with the Clans that adopted them, or their birth Clan…
And so many cats missing or otherwise unconfirmed… I wonder if they will make a return… Or least we know where they are… I'm thinking the captured ones will, because Graystripe was able to in his book series…
I have a feeling Alderheart will become the new medicine cat of Skyclan… After all, he already has a strong connection to them…
And poor Rileypool, going everything he went through in Ravenpaw’s Farewell just to die…
And wasn't Echosong kind of old? For some reason, I'm not all that surprised that she died…
My only complaint is that them being driven out again seems to be almost a repeat of what happened the last time, with a slim chance that they'll reunite with the other clans… It makes him look rather weak, but they proved in their own series that they weren't… Even though the book was well-written, I have mixed feelings about it…
And someone mentioned Bloodclan returning… Where in the book are the hints for that? I mean, Scourge is long dead and doesn't seem to have any kin, so…

This seems really interesting. And wow, I was right that Pebblepaw would be Pebbleshine.
Also, poor SkyClan. I'm a bit surprised Ebonyclaw stayed behind, but not too much with Harveymoon. Glad to see MacGyver joined them at least.
Interesting that Darktail seemed to care for Hawkwing, and I was wondering if the Twolegplace rogues would reappear in this book. It's also pretty sad that many of those who survived either stayed behind or were separated from the group and never returned. Hopefully we'll see at least some of them, but I'm also a little doubtful about that.
As for the Blood Trail... Hmm... I honestly don't know what to make of it.
And now I'm even more convinced that Hawkwing and Pebbleshine are the parents of Twigpaw and Violetpaw. |
