To keep it short for me, I like her, though that doesn't mean I am fond of her parenting, but she's an okay mother.

I still like her as a character. There is more to her than her parenting. Since the end of the Last Hope she was seen being helpful and looking out for her Clanmates. he comforted Brackenfur when he found Sorretail dead and sat with him. She took Hazeltail's shift doing the watch when Hazeltail was discovered to be sick. She looked after Minty and kept her calm and encouraged her. She isn't always with Briarlight and she isn't yelling at Blossomfall or ignoring everyone. Up until her retirement she was being a warrior just like everyone else.

She's okay, and I'm glad Graystripe found happiness again. However, it was clear she was meant to be a replacement for Silverstream (who I didn't like all that much in the first place)
As for her parenting, I actually read a reply on another message board that she reacts after what happens to Brairlight is a realistic depiction of what can happen to a family when something like that occurs… It really made me look at her in a different light, even if she's still not my favorite character…
Oh, and I never understood why she didn't take a warrior name… She'd earned it, after all…

I really hate her, she's not a good mother, I don't think she suits Graystripe very well, and her character, to me at least, screams replacement. She started out good in the manga but then went down hill, I hate her name too, and she rubs me the wrong way. She just doesn't seem likable imo.
