Once again, first one to create a topic for this forum. XD
Seriously though, what did you like most about TAQ? I personally really liked the characters in the book, especially Needlepaw, Alderpaw, and Sparkpaw. I also loved Alderpaw's relationship with his family, especially Sandstorm.

I liked how everyone is having a personality now. While I despise Needlepaw, it was nice to have a new & fresh personality.

I did like the characters. They were all interesting and had a variety of personalities. I really like how Alderpaw is not "heroic" like most other protagonists and actually quite nervous. I also liked how they poked fun at Firestar's legacy in moments like these:
It made for very funny moments.

I liked Needlepaw and how the book made fun of the other books.

I enjoyed the pokes at Firestar, and the personalities of the characters this time around. I can relate to Needlepaw very well. Very rebellious, strong, and also kind and friendly. I appreciate the Erins doing more detailed characters this time around. It's not fun when you can only relate to one or two characters with three dimensional personalities from ThunderClan all the time.

I think Needlepaw has it in her to become a very charismatic villain. Of course, that all depends on how's she written and portrayed.

I thought it was...okay. It felt like some sort of awkward fanfiction to me. I mean, I love Alderpaw and Needlepaw, but I feel like the book could have been written much better. Everything just seemed sorta...flat and rushed. Not to mention, Bramblestar just seemed completely nonchalant about sending his kits off on some journey--as compared to being completely against it when Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf were apprentices.
Idk. I didn't hate it, but it could have better I think.

I really like Alderpaw because he's so nervous and uncertain. It'll be interesting, I think, to see him (hopefully) grow into a mature, more confident cat. But I pretty much hated how he was forced into the role of ThunderClan's third medicine cat when he'd been an apprentice for all of what? A week or less? I get that it was pivotal to this arc of Warriors for Alder to be the third medicine cat and if Bramblestar hadn't done that, there'd be no VOS but at the same time...it was a weird leadership decision even considering what Leafpool and Jayfeather probably told him that we never got to read. But Alderpaw's relationship with Sandstorm was so crazy adorable and it's sad that Graystripe is the only old geezer left of his generation.

I hated the ending. I get that leaders are trying to be fair, but what about the kits? It annoys me that they didnt have anything to say. Separating Violetkit from Lilyheart was like separating ehr from real mother. I just find it cruel and unsympathetic. And Onestars comment that WindClan should also get part on the kits annoyed me even more. Like what did he want to do, split both kits in half? No of course, he wanted them both for himself. Mistystar was at least polite, but she still gained a negative point from me. I loved the book when it started but the ending just made me shove it under my bed and not take it out ever again.
