I hate how when I tell people online that I own and work on a farm, they automatically assume I'm some stereotypical country kid. People assume that I wear camouflage and cowboy boots, listen to country music, and dip. The only accurate thing in those assumptions is that I do dip, the only reason I do is because I had to quit smoking and still needed the stimulation that cigarettes gave me. Beyond that I am not a typical farm kid. I like alternative music, always have crazy colored hair, hate camouflage, and prefer timberland workboots over cowboy boots any day. Stop stereotyping me people. >.< /rant over

Why must people stereotype? I have an rbf too, and I'm also really shy so that makes me ten times more unapproachable. It stinks. Crippling social anxiety prevents me from reaching out first, and because of my rbf and shyness, no one ever wants to talk to me. I just keep to myself most of the time, if I am even ever around anyone, because I live alone and hardly ever go to town. The only interaction I have with others is at dog shows, that's when I come out of my shell. I guess you could call me a quiet, simple farmer.

Now that I think of it, I do have a few vacant rocks you can live under. Any preference?

im not your typical farm boy because i dont live on a farm and im not a boy
stereotypes exist for reasons, some more sillier than others >.> as much as i dislike stereotyping people sometimes i see people who are the living embodiment of a stereotype and its just oh thats why but thats just as likely as finding someone who doesnt fit the stereotype though stereotypes, who needs em? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know what you mean, not everyone who lives or works on a farm is a redneck.

Last time I seen a farm boy. I fell in love. Hard times. Aka I'm sorry for the generalizations you seem to come across. People love to generalize a lot.

I sing rap at the top of my lungs and I literally only own one thing of camo and its gray camo and a pajama shirt. The only reason I even have it is because a friend left it at my house, then moved out of state.

I hate that people also think I'm a typical dumb hick because I'm from Alabama. I'm actually very intelligent, thank you very much >.<

I've actually never met an Asian that likes meat. Ever. They've only like fish, but hated red meat.

I'm from New York. So everyone assumes I must be from the city, when in reality I live on a farm. When they find out I live on a farm they think exactly that. That I'm not smart. I was selected for a scholarship by a private school. It covered half of my $46,000 a year. Plus I got some Alumni Scholarship. All based on merit and I didn't even apply for them. They sought me out.
