➳ you work up the courage to tell your dad you want to commit suicide sometimes and he says "we can talk about it later" and it's a couple days later and we haven't talked about it since

That's.... really depressing. Are you holding up okay? I know this sort of thing can be so tough, especially when you do try to seek support from someone but don't get any.

:-( Just keep holding on and trying, maybe you can try to talk to him again or gain support from someone else. I know it can be hard and you've likely heard this a million times, but try and focus on some positive things, like events you're looking forward to, or people you're wanting to see, or even a new book or something you want in the far-off future. The road will always go on, and I can promise you it won't end on a low, everything will go up and get better again, eventually. ♡

➳ its sort of stupid to complain considering I'm happy all the time and I have a bunch of friends and I'm doing well in school. I just have too much to be excited about to complain

No, you don't. It's not stupid. No one is stupid for not feeling well. It's silly to think that you shouldn't be allowed to be upset or feel depressed just because there are good things going on in your life, depression and these types of feelings can affect anyone, no matter what.
