Just Between Us"Surprised that we have fairly normal food?" Mason chuckled as he stood in line right behind her. The line wasn't extremely long in front of them, which was a good thing. Behind them however, was the problem. They would need to hurry up to avoid a fight, or worse, if one of them delinquents tried to bite Cassie because she was a human taking her time. That was his job. "Yeah, kinda," Cassie said with a nod. "All I know is that this is completely new to me, and I'm not always sure what to expect. Forgive me for being surprised because I have assumptions." She pushed a hand through her long hair before letting out a sigh. She moved along with the line, not wanting to be the one to create a gap in it because she wasn't paying attention.

ɪɴᴛʀᴀɴꜱɪɢᴇɴᴛSergio went against Clayton's orders and looked back at the girl again, ready to talk again. "Oh, I'm Sergio, and this is Clayton." He used his thumb to point to Clayton, which did obviously not go over well. "Shut up Sergio." Clayton said in an exasperated tone. He was too tired now that his anger had been brought out on Sergio already. He closed his eyes briefly as he drove before opening again. He looked up in the mirror again, "Do you think we're stupid? We're not letting you go. So if those ropes cut your hands off if they are that tight, I wouldn't care." Clayton looked back at the road again, almost waiting for Sergio to say something again but was pleased when he remained silent. -- "Oh you humans are simply adorable." Sebastian put a finger under her chin and in a swift movement, turned her head to face him directly. He kept the distance the same: nose to nose. Sebastian let his finger linger there and smirked, his teeth didn't glow this time, but his red eyes stared into her own normal ones. "It's okay to be scared. I know you are." It was very obvious, being this close, demons could sense emotions. They just have to be touching you, and Sebastian was still touching her. His nose was to her's and his finger was underneath her chin. Everything about Sebastian's skin was a dark color. His hair, which just barely touched his ears, was black, his fingernails were black, and so were his wings. He thought it gave him an even more intimidating look rather than wearing orange. What Demon wore orange? Not one the Sebastian knew.

[ Haha don't worry about it Gum ^^ ] Booker followed Mackenzie down the hallway silently, his eyes scanning every inch of the long and narrow path. When they arrived at room M101 he exhaled deeply. "Hope he's not a stiff." He said jokingly, and followed his partner into the room anxiously. At least I got a hang of this whole retina scan thing... it's weird at first but you definitely get used to it. He thought to himself. {What should the training room look like?}

Just Between Us
"Oh, sassy are we?" Mason grinned. She amused him, mainly because he never took humans seriously. Mason picked up a tray and chose the macaroni and cheese out of the two options. It wasn't his favorite option on the menu, but it was better than what they had most days. Stupid humans and their 'feeling welcome' crap by changing the lunch menu.

{Yeah, maybe Lewis gives her the food? And sure thing! Which character did you want?} [ Sounds good ! Did you decide on a punishment for him ? muse B please c: I have a character in mind for it, his name is Corvus West :3 ] Annabelle had spent the rest of her time thinking over everything for a while, but that quickly became too much. She went through all of the scenarios that could've happened if she just kept her mouth quiet. The biscuit was still there, but she felt queasy. She could feel it in her throat, but she didn't throw up. Even as her anxiety peeked, as she began to wonder how exactly she would be able to escape. She didn't want her father to pay that much, especially not when she had gotten herself into this. Annabelle's gaze drifted across the cell and out into the ship beyond her. Even with the light she couldn't distinguish much, but she doubted it would matter. The plate before her however was metal, a cheap and malleable one, but if she worked at it she was certain she could eventually brake the chain. Unfortunately her certainty began to wane, and even worse she couldn't tell if she was making progress. She couldn't tell the time, but she figured she spent a couple hours at it. She gave up for the time being and left the plate as it was. The biscuit was gone, undoubtedly taken by some rat.

Plot four"Oh my god. Will you just let it go? It's not a big deal. My father was murdered too. People will get over it within a year. " Dylan said, looking over at her with an annoyed expression. "It's seriously not a big deal. It's just one person. And it's not our fault he got in the way." He responded, keeping his voice low so nobody else would over hear the conversation. He started at her for a moment before finally tearing his gaze away from her and taking a sip of his own smoothie. Plot 13
Kyle lifted his head at the right time, removing an earbud to listen to what the girl had to say. He couldn't help but laugh at her, a faint frown pulling at his lips. "That has to be the lamest pick up line in existence." He said with a dry tone, a mildly annoyed expression on his features. He didn't have time for this. He had to get started on that painting if he wanted to meet the deadline. And pointless flirting was not something he had in mind. Jack Frost
Cole had a simmer of hope as the door opened, just enough to see a face. His own face was red, his teeth back to chattering as he looked at her with wide blue eyes, snow sticking to his hair and eye lashes, giving it a kind of salt and pepper look. It took him a second or two to process the question and figure out a response. "I... I crashed my car. I was looking for help." The college student explained, freezing in his thin sweat shirt. He felt kind of fuzzy, just suddenly really tired. He didn't really expect to be let in, but he looked past the girl and towards the warmth of the fire. - 7 and 10.

Spy Troubles
{True}
Mackenzie walked in the room calmly, but on the inside she was praying this whole thing was a joke. All of this looked impossible. It had walls you were meant to climb over without ropes or handles, balance beams (the taller ones), a rope you were supposed to climb to the ceiling, and more. It made her head spin looking at it all. "Kill me now." She told Booker quietly so no one else would hear it. There were a few other kids already there, and it seemed they were right on time because Mr. Friesenhahn had just started talking. "Listen up!" He had a booming voice that seemed to fit his body. His hair screamed military buzz cut, and his body was well toned, not to mention tall. "You have come here to learn correct?" Mackenzie nodded along with everyone else, "So I hope you know that if you decide to skip a day, it's your own sorry a** fault for not knowing what we are doing!"

Cassie rolled her eyes and shrugged as she also grabbed a tray and macaroni and cheese. "Maybe," she finally said with a slight shake of her head. She also grabbed a bottle of water, some plastic silverware, and a napkin. Now having everything she needed, she left the line and waited for Mason to lead the way to the table at which he and his friends sat.

Cass had just about had enough of this insolent man's attitude. She huffed, flicking her hair back from her eyes, her gaze sharp and steely and face gaining some color as her cheeks begain to glow in a rosy hue created by her frustration increasing her blood pressure.
"I didn't say you're stupid before, but I'll definitely say it now since you're acting like a moron. Listen here you twat, I've had enough of your rudeness and bad attitude. Just because you're frustrated does not mean you can just take it out on me. Furthermore, I didn't ask to be kidnapped. You brought this on yourself. So lose the 'tude," she practically spat, words harsh and voice low. Her tone was sharp and calm, and her gaze was fiercer than a lion's, and she seemed like she could pounce at any moment.
She began to work her knees up to her chest, draping her arms over them and turning her gaze to glare out the window sullenly, chin resting on her knees and frustration simmering slightly after her little rant. She began to use her fingers to try to loosen the knots of the the rope around her ankles, the bony girl feeling great discomfort from how sharply it cut into her skin.
--
Hazel gasped as he placed his finger underneath her chin, shuddering faintly from the feeling on her skin. The temperature of the air seemed to be the same as him and it didn't help that she needed to stoke the fire. If it hadn't been so cold, and if she hadn't been so nervous, under normal circumstances she sould have blushed. But nothing was normal about this and it was too cold for her body to return the color to her face, so she shuddered again, lips quivering faintly in the cold that only seemed to be worsening.
Turning her head away from him to gaze at the dying fire, now beginning to shiver rather violently from the cold, Hazel reached for the stick she had nearby, hands shaking as she stirred the embers and tossed on some more wood, feeling his finger against the side of her neck. She swallowed, suddenly aware of how quickly her heart was beating, and she wondered vaguely if he could feel it.
"You still haven't answered my question. What are you?" she repeated softly, not turning back to him and instead, keeping herself transfixed on the fire to try to calm herself. This wasn't so bad. He didn't seem too aggressive-at least, not yet.

High Seas
Lewis would never forget to give food to anyone. He knew that he would never want to be forgotten like that. It was like his mother always said, "Treat other like how you would want to be treated Lewis." Her quotes and his memories of her was all he had to hold onto. It was all gone now. His sister might be nursing the baby of that man, who was now thankfully dead, who had hurt her. She had to care for the child now, and Lewis knew she would. His sister would never turn away those who were helpless. Then his father, who had beaten him when he was younger. He was dead too, his body floating out in the ocean somewhere if the sharks didn't get it first. Lewis's mother was dead too, she died protecting her son who was maybe ten at the time. It felt so long ago, yet it had only been about eight years. To think about eight years compared to all the years the world had been around, it paled in comparison. He had lost it all, and somehow, he continues to make things worse for himself. He was doing it now delivering more food than he was supposed to to the female prisoner. Lewis learned her name from the captain: Annabelle. It was a nice name, it suited her. Lewis looked down at the plate that may very well be his death sentence do to the amount of food on there. He was surprised he got past the crew with it, but Lewis was more clever than they thought him to be. Lewis unlocked the door to where they kept Annabelle. It was dark, that was for sure, but he could still see her in the corner of the room. Lewis brushed his blonde hair out of the way, he normally left it a little shaggy. "Hi Annabelle." He greeted her.

𝒞'𝑒𝓈𝓉 𝐿𝒶 𝒱𝒾𝑒 Plot 4"But it is our fault that he died. We didn't have to kill him. The boss just wanted us to get the money, not killed people." Alicia looked down at her hands, which were now in her lap and clenched into fists. Money was all they needed, and if the boss recieved money, so did his workers. Alicia and Dylan were two of them. Alicia met Dylan through the organization they worked for, and the two were assigned to be partners. Alicia didn't mind at first but when it became evident Dylan was unconcerned by the thought of death, Alicia grew more concerned. Plot 13Jessica moved her sunglasses down to get a better look at the man. "Don't worry, that's just Plan A." She told him with an expressionless face. Her blonde hair fell past her shoulders instead of staying behind them. It was a good thing the light was taking forever, and she was in the way of the crosswalk. Jack Frost Nippin at Your NoseKayleigh studied the man, looking him up and down. He appeared helpless, and very cold. Almost at risk for hypothermia cold. She opened the door wider, motioning him inside. "Come on in." She felt sympathetic about his situation. She did not know how long he had been out there, but she knew they could not be more than three hours. Because that is how long the average humans can survive without adequate shelter in extreme weather. It gave her some relief but she didn't know how cold his internal body temperature was.

As soon as Mason finished getting his lunch together he led the way over to a lunch table located closest to the exit doors. His friends were already there: Chase Long, Tanner Black, and about four others. Hopefully she wouldn't be too uncomfortable, they had a tendency to be overbearing at times. Mason sat down across from them, making sure there was a spot for Cassie to sit. Tanner studied Cassie with amber eyes, a trait passed through his family. "One of the new humans huh? Delicious." Tanner smirked, of course he wasn't serious but he loved to mess with new kids of any species.

Plot four"Are you ever going to let this go?" Dylan asked through a groan, dropping his head back to stare up at the ceiling. "It's not like I planned on killing him. He just got in the way. Part of the job. You have to expect things like that to happen, Alica. Seriously. Did you come into this, being so naive, that you didn't think that this would happen eventually? That the job is all lollipops and rainbows? If so, then tonight really burst your bubble, didn't it?" Plot 13
Kyle scoffed at the line, rolling brown eyes and crossing his arms over his toned chest. "Oh? What's plan b?" He asked, a hint of annoyency dripping from his voice. While he appreciated being hit on, because he thought the world revolved around him and that anybody would love to flirt with him, he was just under a tiny bit of stress today. Jack Frost
Cole didn't hesitate to go through the door. He paused just a moment, before taking off his shoes and instantly going to the fire and sitting down in front of it, holding his hands out to the flames after taking his thin gloves off as well. Logically he knew that taking his shirt off would be a good idea since it was kind of damp, but he felt weird enough already, just going into a strangers house because he was on the verge of moderate hypothermia. He probably already had a mild case. Clearing his throat, he twisted a bit to look back at the girl. "I'm Cole."

Cassie set her tray on the table as she sat down beside Mason. After Tanner spoke, she shot a glare in his direction in an attempt to hide her discomfort at the comment. She wasn't comfortable with being equated to food, though she probably should have expected to hear it. She then picked up her fork and began to eat lunch, hoping that none of the others would make similar comments.

Booker stared in awe at the training room in front of him. To be honest he felt just at home, a lot of these drills he's done with his mom or on his own. This place is heaven He thought to himself, but then again he'd been doing climbing drills like these since he could walk. "I get the feeling he's a 'no nonsense' type of guy." Booker whispered quietly to Mackenzie, barely moving his lips.[ sorry for the short post >< ] Mackenzie leaned closer to him so she wouldn't be heard by Mr. Friesenhahn, "Same here." She stood straight backed again she saw that he was looking at the two of them Mr. Friesenhahn narrowed his gaze and had it sweep over all of the recruits. "Today, it will be fairly simple. You'll run from one end of the room to the other, sprints, 10 times. Then, you will use the energy you have built up from that, if you have any left, and scale each wall in height order. If you fail at climbing one, you do 20 push ups. When everyone has finished with that, we'll move on. Am I understood?" Mackenzie nodded her head vigorously, hoping to not get on Mr. Friesenhahn's bad side. This workout seemed impossible though. How did they expect them to do all of this on their first day? And she figured Mr. Friesenhahn would add on to what they had to do.

ɪɴᴛʀᴀɴꜱɪɢᴇɴᴛ"So that is your idea on getting yourself free sooner? Yell at your captors?" Clayton paused for a moment as they hid a bump in the road that made the whole truck bounce, "Good luck with that." Clayton rolled his eyes and gripped the wheel until his knuckles turned white. They would be pulling into the space research center soon. While some of their colleagues would find it useful to have someone that belonged frolic a rival space research center for information, they wanted to avoid run ins with the law. Sergio, being very tall, almost hit his head on the roof of the truck when they hit the bump, but Sergio used thay bump as a landmark to remind him they were close. "We'll be there soon miss. Maybe Clayton will tie you up elsewhere." Sergio smiled, in an almost optimistic way. -- "Curious one aren't you?" Sebastian smiled, now grabbing her neck. Of course, he didn't hold her hard enough to choke her, nor hurt her, but she needed to realize he will not be ignored. Especially for something as simple as checking a fire. If he wanted, Sebastian could light a tree on fire if she was that cold. However, he did not say this outloud, the girl didn't need to know yet. He pressed his thumb and index finger against her jaw and turned her head to face him again. "I'm not something to be ignored is what I am. But you can also consider me a guide in several ways." Sebastian spoke with a dark and firm tone. His red eyes were the color of blood as they gazed into her's. The shade of red his eye's were depended on his mood, the darker the red, the more serious or intense. Although with what Sebastian had planned, this girl would learn that over time.

Cassie couldn't hide how offended she was when Tanner said that her blood probably tasted better than the cafeteria food. She let out a slight gasp before speaking. "Probably tastes better?" She questioned as she raised an eyebrow. "Let me get this straight. You're not completely certain that my blood, which is what you need to survive, tastes better than cafeterias food?" She stopped speaking and shuddered slightly, realizing how morbid - to her - her words seemed. "And let me make this clear: I am not his girlfriend."

Cass huffed, expressing her now full on frustration. She was tired, she was hungry, her back was starting to hurt from her position against the door, and she wanted to just go home. She frowned, scowling through the darkness at Clayton, shaking her head. "I only yelled because you were being rude, and I just want to go home! I don't even know how I got here or why," she fussed, irritation getting the best of her. She yawned, leaning her head against the seat, eyes drooping tiredly despite her irritation, confusion, and anxiety. She yawned, blinking, jerking upwards again as the car jolted over the bump.
She gave a dry laugh in response to Sergio, shaking her head. "I sure hope not. I want to be as far from him as possible," she sneered, eyes narrowing before she yawned once more, laying her head back against the seat. She closed her eyes, allowing herself to fall back into slumber, body drooping and chest rising and falling evenly, the moonlight bathing her in silvery beams. She really was quite pretty.
--
Hazel jerked slightly when he grabbed her neck, eyes widening and heart thumping violently. She shuddered, upper lip curling slightly in distaste as he tightened his grip, forcing her to turn her head. Her eyes narrowed, heart thumping loudly in her chest as she swallowed, feeling his thumb pushing against her throat somewhat uncomfortably. "Well, I wasn't ignoring you, I was just trying to keep warm," she retorted softly, teeth chattering faintly as she spoke, her skin cool to the touch-too cool. She shivered once more, dropping her gaze from his, thinking for a moment.
"So...why are you here? You're not lost, are you?" she asked quietly, voice soft and gentle as she kept her gaze downwards, studying his arms and his free hand, eyes shifting to the landscape around her, shivering more violently now as her limbs began to ache, exhaustion beginning to settle in instead. She yawned, trying to stifle it before pulling a hand up to her face, carefully so as to not accidentally hit this creature, anxiety beginning to rise.

"Don't call me lady," Cassie said firmly. "I'm fourteen, not forty." The girl then rolled her eyes and went back to eating, not wanting to discuss the topic of blood while at lunch, or ever, quite frankly. The topic made her somewhat uncomfortable, and the discomfort was only greater now that she was at a school surrounded by vampires.
