Catherine watched the exchange of hand signals with her eyes a little wider than usual. She had absolutely no idea what they were saying to each other but she figured she didn't need to hear it if they communicated that way when they know she doesn't understand sign language. Catherine looked up at the man who spoke to her and addressed himself as Malcolm. "Catherine Perry." She shook his hand although she didn't think she needed an introduction it was polite to do so. "But I'm glad I got to impress someone."

"I am absolutely fabulous."
OOC CHATTER - - ROLEPLAY - Malcolm chuckled, "so, doll, what do you do day to day? We need to know so we can, y'kmow, keep an eye on you an' such." He have a wide, wonky grin, "d'ya think yur daddy would believe that I'm your new r-" Chole smacked the side of his head and glared at him, giving him a furry a sign. "Sorry doll," Malcolm smiled sheepishly at them both, and despite being nearly ten years senior to Chole he look thoroughly chastised.
Chole turned back to Catherine, her gaze softening. "It is important that we know your daily routine so we know where to be." She sent a glare at Malc and then turned back to Catherine. "For city sake, I'm just going to explain the basics of signing, okay?" Chole smiled.
She knocked the air as if she was knocking on someone's door. "This means yes." She blew a kiss (thank you), she picked the air with all of her fingers (no). "For now, I think that's all you need to know." She glanced down at the menu - "did you want something to drink, eat?" -
"Knock 'em dead, darling."

Catherine watched the two of them, this Malcolm seemed to think somewhat highly of himself. At least, Catherine believed that until Chole smacked him. She couldn't help but chuckle at it though, it was almost like siblings fighting.
When being shown the hand signals Catherine tried to remember all of it. She assumed three signals wouldn't be too much of a challenge. "I guess just some coffee." She told the two of them as she was closing her menu, "My daily routine? Well I might as well give you a schedule because it does not vary too much, except when daddy is taking the family somewhere for buisness." She folded her hands in her lap, "I usually come by some café or, if I'm too lazy, eat at home for breakfast. Then I may go shopping on the east side of town. After that, I go to my job. I'm a model so I normally go to J&R's studios."

Katelyn was about to argue when he said that he would pay for the food but he didn't seem to want to leave any room for argument, and she didn't want to start off that way. She hoped he wasn't taking her anywhere too nice, for one thing she wasn't dressed for it, and two, that would make her feel even more guilty. Katelyn didn't bring any really nice clothes with her either in her suitcase. She never brought anything for a fancy dinner while on some tourist trip, anything would do for a meal as long as it tasted decent. "I just got here yesterday, so I'm not too sure what I want." Katelyn told him. She didn't do a whole lot of research on food around here either. She sort of assumed it would be like her trip to China but everything was so different. "Before you buy anything for me though, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Katelyn." Hopefully he would exchange his name, it would be awkward for her otherwise just addressing him as 'you'. She hated doing that , it just seemed like such a New Jersey thing, 'hey, you'z guys!' Her Jersey uncle would say. { Sorry it's taken so ridiculously long for me to get to this ^-^' } Kihyun was about to suggest going to that BBQ place that he and his brother used to frequent, back before Yoongi became all popular and everything, but the girl (ok, Katelyn) spoke first. Her name wasn't one that he was used to hearing and he tested it out, his tongue wrapping itself around the sounds, making the name sound almost Korean with the way he placed emphasis on the "t", the fact that the "l" sounded more like a combination of an "r" and an "l" than just the single letter. "Kay-tuh-rin..." He frowned slightly, perhaps aware of how broken the name sounded on his tongue. But it didn't matter whether or not he could say her name the way she said it. It was likely that, after today, he'd never have to use her name again. "It's nice to meet you. My name is Kihyun." He wondered briefly if Katelyn would have trouble with his name, but Kihyun didn't let that thought linger too long. "The next next right, we take. That will be Insa-dong. We can go to a barbeque place that's nice."

Katelyn smiled when he attempted to pronounce her name. It was okay that he couldn't get it right. She probably wouldn't remember his name either after today, considering they will most likely never see each other again. When he suggested barbecue she perked. Katelyn loved barbecue, and trying it in South Korea would definitely be a new experience. And most likely one with more spices. Katelyn did okay-ish when it came to eating spicy food, she just hoped it wouldn't be more than she expected. Katelyn could be a wimp too.
"I haven't eaten much besides hot pockets for the last couple days. It would be a nice change to have actual meat." Katelyn winked and pocketed her phone as she said so. He seemed like a nice guy, it wouldn't hurt to go eat, especially since it would take her back to her hotel. It would be a relief to just get back and crash on the couch. But she wouldn't miss an opportunity to go eat out, food was food "You aren't taking me anywhere fancy are you?" Katelyn raised an eyebrow as she asked him. She didn't want to go anywhere where she felt she would have to dress up.

Kihyun was almost hyper-aware of the fact that Katelyn's phone had been pocketed, had gone out of sight. Now what? Maybe she would be one of those people who takes pictures of her food. And maybe Kihyun will ask if she wants to get a picture taken with the restaurant or something and he could just quickly delete that offending picture from her phone before handing it back. Yes. Good plan. He mentally patted himself on the back.
He didn't bother asking what "hot pockets" were. Probably just another foreign fast food. "No, not fancy." He smiled. If it were someplace fancy, he doubted the owners would have been so kind to him and Yoongi; or at the very least, he doubted that they would have been kind enough to give them extra servings even when they were too poor to afford it. Of course things were different now - neither Kihyun nor Yoongi were lacking in cash. But the owners were still persistent in giving them stuff for free, no matter how hard both brothers had tried to change that tradition. "It's not fancy, but it's very good."
It wasn't long before the pair reached Insa-dong. The street, as always, was crowded with locals and tourists alike. Vendors lined both sides of the paved road and the smells made Kihyun's mouth water. He wondered how long it had been since he'd freely wandered these streets. As they neared the BBQ shop, he raised a hand to point it out. "There. Banpo BBQ."

Hayley looked him over. "No, I'm pretty sure I didn't. How did you get in here?" She asked, not believing him. Hayley had made sure she was the one person who wasn't going to hey robbed because she just moved in. Not gonna happen. "Well are you going to tell me?" She was getting impatient.

OOC CHATTER - - ROLEPLAY - The barista left to go get Catherine's coffee and returned just after she had finished speaking. Malcolm leant back in his seat and glanced over at Chole, who looked slightly impressed at how much she had to do. Chole did have to do more, as was the nature of her work. "You're busy for an almost innocent civilian," Malc commented and Chole looked over at him. His voice was smug like it always was.
Chole huffed and sighed at him, and he grinned, signing something back. Her face went red and she smacked him again, before she turned back to Catherine. "I suggested to Mark that I get a job at your modelling agency. As you can probably guess I often get underestimated about my age ... so, who'll guess that little old me is second .on command of one of the biggest uncorrupted gangs in the city?" She grinned wide and once again looked very much like her older brother. -
"Knock 'em dead, darling."

The bustling streets were almost too much for Katelyn, but she had been to places like New York, Mexico City, and more. Thay didn't mean Katelyn liked being in crowded places. Crowded cities were targets for...anything really and it was a frightening thought, however, she would make the most of it. Big cities aren't all bad when you just go vacationing, and Seoul was very different from any other place she had been to. She looked up at where her guide pointed to. "Banpo? I hope I'm saying that right. Or am I too white?" Katelyn smirked. Katelyn wasn't one to try and speak foreign languages. It was too much work.
She noticed how everything seemed to be so open, like vendors on the streets and restaurants big and small and in every shape and size next to each other. It was like a melting pot of families and their traditions.

Sharon didn't notice his strained smile, she was just looking at the crowd of men either waiting to get their food or chatting with others as they ate. It didn't remind her of home though. Mainly because they were all wounded and no one ever saw wounded soliders in this state unless a war had just ended and everyone was going back home. She was homesick to say the least. Slowly, ever so slowly her brain would twist little things into making her think of home. Like 1st Sergeant Burton, she occasionally addressed him as Wallace because he reminded Sharon of her brother. Or she'll see someone with crutches and instantly think of Tommy, her nephew. But she could not afford to start going insane. She didn't belong in some mental institution and wasn't going to start letting others believe Sharon M. Koehler belonged in one. She looked up at the man that had addressed Aurik and her. Her eyes seemed to say she was lost for a few moments but then returned to their original state. "Yes, but he's a handful." Sharon smiled, trying to hide the feeling that she didn't feel quite right. Aurik seemed nervous about something too, maybe he was afraid of failing his higher ups by being injured. But being wounded is battle is quite a nobel thing. This also went for those German scum who stood for all the wrong things. But they were still someone's father, brother, son, or uncle. They were still human. note: ill be poofy from November 12th- November 17th; I apologize ill hopefully reply tomorrow however

Asa eyes widened a little when she gave her response. Annabelle obviously had no clue how much the typical prisoner ate. It wasn't near the recommended amount for humans if one wanted to maintain a stable rate of food intake and regulated nutrition. "Suit yourself then. Your next meal will be when Lewis remembers. After that...we'll see." He said with uncertainty laced in his voice and a nod of his head as if he had just come to the conclusion of something. "Are you allergic to anything?" Asa felt as if he was giving her a medical exam of sorts. He remembered being asked that question when he first decided to live on the sea. Asa was aergic to a certain foods though: mint. Nothing that contained mint he was deathly allergic to it, but his life wouldn't be in danger unless he were to actually eat it. "Not that I know of," Annabelle said dully. She didn't really have much basis for this however, her family usually ate the same ten meals over and over. Their cook was getting old and their wasn't much in town to change it up. Annabelle didn't really mind, she had experimented a little with cooking only to find out she was terrible at it. From then on she never complained, simply letting Lois deal with it. Her mother used to be fantastic at cooking, she'd always find something new and strange for them to try, often being from foreign soil. Annabelle missed those days, when she couldn't guess what each hour would present and have nothing to look forward to but the same bland plate. Annabelle noticed he had said 'when Lewis remembers'... Lewis was the one that Asa had shown some level of distrust for, maybe she could use that to her advantage somehow. He seemed to be a nice kid last time they spoke, if she kept to a plan she might be able to find a way to escape... but then again, she didn't want to make Lewis's life any harder than it already was. She'd have to be careful, especially if they were going to spend more time on sea than by land.

Thug Love Jacob rolled his eyes about her comment on the Disney movie. He hated them, the only reason he went out to see them, was because his little sister wouldn't shut up until he took her. Isabelle was her name, by he called her Izzy. He wondered if all little sisters were like that, needy and tried to sing when they really can't. He never criticized her to her face though, it was more in his head than anything. Jacob got the singing gene, and he was very thankful for it, was quite useful when attempting to impress girls. It worked nearly every time. "I prefer something...not rated G?" He chuckled, those kidding movies were so stupid and cheesy, he wondered how his parents ever sat through Thomas the train movies with him. But Jacob always had a soft spot for super hero movies or Star Wars films. Although he kept that a secret for the most part. "What are you into?"

Edmund wished he could just disappear again like he usually did but to do so right in front of someone would be wrong. That would give away what and who he truly was. He has already recieved comments about how he look like that British boy that was murdered in this area in the early 1900s. Which, was about 100 years ago. He still looked 18, and very human, just a little paler. It was like he was human but something about him would always seem a little off. Which was to be expected, especially for a ghost. "I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you then. I've lived in this neighborhood for a long while now and everyone knows each other, so it is quite normal for them to leave their doors unlocked." Most of that was true. Some lies were embedded in it, but he doubted she could prove him wrong.

From back when life was simpler?" She questioned automatically from noticing his reaction. She didn't usually catch stuff like that -again, social graces never seemed to be her forte, but Jacob seemed to be different for her. For one, she'd actually remember his name without trying, and she could focus on his face without it feeling completely and uttering awkward and anxiety-inducing. "Mmm.. Marvel, D.C., Star Wars. Old Western. Anything with a non-stereotypical plot-line with a little bit of action works for me." Fi answered, easy-going. To be honest, she'd only seen a movie in the theaters once, and it was at a discount dollar movie place. Thanks for finding the post! And, of course, leaving the plot open for me.)

"I don't have anything against classics per say, but I'm not going to watch Cinderella in my free time." Jacob nudged her in a friendly way. He perked up when he heard her talk about what kind of movies she liked. "Star Wars you say? I'm intrigued. I've heard they are replaying one of them at the theater off of Weil Road." He hinted to her. Hopefully she got it if she was intrested in Star Wars. He needed more friends to watch it with, ones that actually sat through it and enjoyed it instead of complaining the whole time.

"Nah, princess movies are for girls!" Fi exclaimed. "I'm talking Fox and the Hound, Pete's Dragon, Atlantis? Those are the good ones." It'd probably not work out though... She didn't have the money, or the time to be screwing around with movies and guys when she'd either be beaten to a pulp as a 'stay out' warning, or be beaten back into the gang, initiation style. "Really? I had them all on VHS when I was little. Is it a marathon or just one of the episodes?" Fi inquired, interested.

"I think it's Episodes one and two, and then tomorrow it's three and four and so on." Jacob was looking elsewhere trying to think if that was right, when thinking, he normally stared at something else besides a person. "But I think you're just going to be able to put up with me today." Jacob smiled as they began exiting the park and back into the bustling streets. He didn't have to worry about being anywhere near work now. The movies were well away from the Apple store. "Does that work for you? Can you handle me for a couple hours?

Fia nodded. "Sure. I'll go with." She answered shortly, getting lost a bit in her own head. Every sound made her want to jump, and it wasn't even dark yet. Gosh... She wasn't sure what it was about this Jacob guy, but something was definitely different from other rich dudes. He was kind, and seemed to talk on an even field with her.

Hayley looked at him and stepped back. "But I locked my door." She repeated. "Look, just, get out of my house, okay? I don't know how you got in here or where you came from, but it's starting to get creepy. Thanks for... coming?" She said, walking to the door. Edmund noticed her step back, but tried to not think much of it. Maybe he could mess with her more often, just show up in random places like the fridge or the fireplace. The possibilities are endless. "I'm sure you'll get used to it." Edmund winked, and then his face turned serious. "Everyone does." He opened the door slowly and then looked back at her, "See you around." He waved casually.
