I've grown up with warriors ever since it first started out, I would constantly read these books as of means to escape reality and even deal with stress and depression.
I've mentioned before that I have PTSD, and someone asked me what it was about, before I wasn't comfortable in saying, but I want to make this clear.
When I was younger, about 14, bad things happened to me, because of my step-father, I'm not going to make this explicit. But during those times, these books, and my pet cat, were one of the few things that made me happy and helped me get through the abuse.
So seeing all these Tom, Turtle Tail and Bumble theories floating around, about how Tom could have possible done "forced" both Turtle Tail and Bumble, and people speaking of it like it's nothing, nonchalantly, makes my stomach curl. I honestly typed this post while my hands were shaking and my head felt like it was going numb, I'm seriously stressed out right now.
Warriors is supposed to be something interesting I can discuss with other people, even if things get a bit heated. But please don't talk about certain things on a whim, even if you don't mean to offend anyone. I'm saying this in the same way as how some people don't like homophobic or ableist slurs said on here. So can we not discuss things like "****", it's highly uncomfortable.
Also saying "Nobody is forcing you to debate with us. If you don't like it, don't go on such threads. Simple." is just...I don't even know how to describe the bile that rose in my throat over reading this.
Because the way this sentence was structured reminded me of something my step father said, I'm not trying to be a troll, or someone who just wants to start drama, but please understand there are even children that come on these forums. Talking about things like this is not appropriate, the word is even censored for god's sake.

Sorry, I didn't know that someone would get offended. You are right, discussing it probably wasn't the best idea. After all it is a dark topic and it shouldn't be brought into kids series like warriors.
For future reference though, you don't exactly have to quote me.

I used the quote because even after I asked, and said that it was highly uncomfortable, you responded in such a way that felt like my feelings on such a matter was null and void, and didn't matter, and it was my fault for going into a that thread in the first place. I'm not gonna lie, the way you worded it was very upsetting, and I had to hold back myself from typing something else to you in response. But thank you for apologizing, I need a moment though, I'm not feeling well after typing this thread up.

I can understand where you're coming from with this, as I also have PTSD. Although mine is from a different trama. Though, if people wish to talk about such things, I think they should add something in their title that says it has trigger material. That away people can tread with caution if they choose to ignore the warning. And it also gives members a chance to avoid the topic all together.
I think that would be a solution that sort of solves the issue of others being hurt due to past trama. If people want to debate a possible theory, fine, but it wouldn't hurt to put a warning in their title so others can avoid the topic altogether if need be.
Also, in regards to children...kids under 13 aren't allowed on the forums. That was a rule established some time ago.

I agree with you, back when I used to go on FF.net I remember they were strict about people labeling their stories properly, and giving warnings of the content. I personally don't like the idea of non-con discussion, but people will probably do it regardless. But the best solution, unless the admins say something otherwise, is that people put warnings in their titles. It would be much appreciated.

May I ask would you get offended if I made a thread about lemon warriors and my problems with them?

I can't exactly stop you from making certain threads, but it would be appreciated that you put a warning in the title at least please. Even if children under 13 aren't allowed on here, that still means children between 13-17 are still possible, of children that lie about their age to make accounts. So discretion is what I'm asking for, thank you.

Please inform the others of putting warnings their threads that are of a sensitive topic (I might make a sticky) and/or report threads that need a warning(s) and in the report inform the mod of what warning(s) you would like placed in the thread title. If you just say "put a warning" depending on the thread and how obvious the thread is, we won't know what warning to put in the title and the report might be archived because the mod doesn't see the problem.

I just wanted to say thank you for this Maplefrost. It's an important reminder that we don't (in most cases) know what kind of life other people have had, and to make sure to be mindful of that when posting.
I'm speaking in general and of myself, not calling anyone out.
