Even though they only appeared for one book and Red and especially Velvet didn't get too many scenes, what did you guys think of them?

She was an annoying little brat just like Silverstream and i hate characters like that. Glad she died. Care to be more specific? I don't really see how she was a brat. Silverstream I get since she used the whole "I'm the Clan leader's daughter" excuse, but Red? She fell in love with Harley, was accused of being a traitor by her own father, who later disowned her and then began to think that Red was being threatened by Dodge's gang and got SkyClan involved in a battle that wasn't even their own. It also doesn't help that she was killed by him, nor the fact that she takes after both of her parents, especially Stick, who seemed to be more overprotective of her than Crookedstar was over Silverstream. I will say that she could've tried to be more understanding towards her father though, I just wouldn't call her a brat. Honestly, I feel like everyone is to blame on some way for what happened in the end. |

I liked Red, but her death scene was somehow unrealistic. How can Stick aciddentally slit her throat open with only one blow? They are not lions or tigers with such dangerous claws.

I feel like Red wasn't very understanding of how much her father loved her and was worried about her. Yeah he was kind of overprotective, but considering Harley's group and Stick's group had been in conflict with each other for WHO KNOWS HOW LONG? It was to be expected.
I don't remember Harley trying to join Stick's group or make peace with Stick, so Stick had no reason to trust Harley, he thought Harley had taken Red hostage or was using her to get to him. And Red wasn't any better sneaking around behind Harley's back instead of trying to find a way to make peace or at least get Stick to accept Harley.
Red's death was an accident, I don't hate Stick for it I feel bad for him, he loved his daughter he was only trying to protect her and he thought she was being taken advantage of. Harley never showed him his feelings for Red, he never did anything to try to convince Stick he loved Red.
So ultimately everyone's to blame not just Stick. Red for not trying to find away to get her father and mate to get along. Stick for being overprotective and Harley for being a jerk and still antagonizing Stick instead of trying to make peace with him.
