so i had to go to my pharmacy get the full records of my medication history over the past six years (to give to a new doctor). i was curious and added up all the co-pays and it come to just under $15,000. i hate my insurance. it's a really low grade plan on Oxford. i'm gonna try and get a second plan with medicaid, maybe that'll help me out some..
aside from my meds i've also been seeing a therapist (she's amazing) out of plan for five years and my dad recently figured out that we've just past paying her $25,000. i see her a lot.
and this doesn't even include the co-pays from hospitalizations... it's kinda a horrible feeling cause i don't have the money to go to college at this point in my life. i've pretty much spent it all on my health.
anyways yea i should have just not looked at the paper work... i don't need these numbers floating around in my head. too late
how are u guys
