I personally think people are being a little harsh on Su. She's actually talking these things out with Vicky herself regarding what's canon, so it's not like she's making things up, either. And how do we even know she's being bias? All she's doing is providing information given by Vicky herself while she's busy. Don't shoot the messenger.
As for placing innocent cats in the Dark Forest, trust me, I'm just as confused as the rest of you and this does qualify as bad writing, especially if we're just getting vague reasons for two of them, and one of them was only featured in the allegiances, but I'm sure we'll get more in-depth explanations or even see these reasons in novellas.
Grief changes people, so perhaps it was Brightflower who killed Lionheart after being driven mad by grief and maybe went after other cats with families as well, and maybe Lilywhisker's kindness was all an act and she somehow took one or more of Heatherstar's lives and possibly the lives of some of her other Clanmates, like maybe Palebird and/or Woollytail. Maybe Blizzardwing was somehow responsible for Cedarstar's mysterious illness, or sided with BloodClan if he lived that long. Perhaps Tangleburr, Deerfoot, and Stumpytail sided with BloodClan after Tigerstar died. Maybe Marshcloud took one or more of Hailstar's lives. As confusing as this is, it does open up a lot of room for more theories.

I still feel like some of the criticism is warrented though, even if I see what you mean. That's just me though.
Also Vicky and Su are connected in my mind, so when I disagree with one I disagree with both

I still feel like some of the criticism is warrented though, even if I see what you mean. That's just me though. True, but there's criticism... and then there's disrespect. It seems more like it's the latter to me, honestly. |

It seems more like it's the latter to me, honestly. I agree. It's getting to the point where it's kinda ridiculous. People need to remember that they are people just like us. They have feelings. They have emotions. Just because they are giving out info that you may not like to see does not give you the right to rag on them like that. Also, this is a series about fictional cats. Get over it. |

[ ✎ Honestly, until I see proof that she is talking it out, Su is just a fan who has the bias blessing of Vicky. A lot of stuff she's confirmed is weird and doesn't make sense. I'd rather wait for something to be confirmed over this Su person just confirming whatever she wants. I wonder how HC feels about this, because a lot of fans are unhappy and I don't know if Su is an employee of HC or not. If I was HC, I'd shut it down and make them take it all back and apologize. The only reason people are bothered by Su is because of what she said about Brightflower and Lilywhisker. If she had just confirmed missing kits or descriptions, I doubt anyone would have a problem with her. But the fact she's confirming major things that go against the series without proper explanation is what has got people upset. True, there could be more to the story with these cats, but if so why doesn't she just tell us or say a book will come out to explain in better detail? It just seems a little odd she would corret her statement about the time of Brightflower's death, but she still only says she went to StarClan for negative feelings and not anything more. So I get why people are so untrusting of Su and Vicky right now. To me this reaction is no different than how fans react everytime Vicky defends Ashfur's placement in StarClan.
Are some people going a little too far? Sure. But I understand why they feel the way they do

I mean it is the internet, none of us are obliged to be nice whatsoever, not to justify all this hate but if you say anything on the internet, you had it coming. We all agreed to the unwritten "no butt-hurt from hate" policy when we decided to go on the internet.
