Does anyone remember them? I was thinking we should do something similar to what they had on the old forums but here on the new forums with a new name, what do you guys think?
For those of you who don't know about the old Writing Warriors it was a group of writers in fff who started a little thread event. Basically it broke down the different subjects of writing and certain people were "teachers" who were "specialized" in the said skill and would give little crash courses in it.
I was thinking we could do that as well as some added things, and if any of you have any ideas, please, speak up!
Here's what I was thinking:
We divide writing into it's core parts-
Character Development
Plot Development
Description & Structure
Grammar & Spelling
And with these four core parts we have at least one person specialized in it who breaks it down on helpful ways to go about it in individual threads. Within these threads people could ask questions and whatnot and the person who made the thread, as well as whoever else we decide is "specialized" in that core part would answer any questions and help.
We'd also have a main thread or "headquarters" where all announcements would be posted. On there we'd have general helpful little tidbits and whatnot too as well as general discussion. We'd most likely have (bi?)weekly recognitions of certain pieces of writing on here, as well as quotes.
We could also have a thread where we make an index of all stories on here based on genre, a "library" if you will.
Then there's also the idea of having special contest through it. As well as assigned "editors" who would be people who enjoy reading other's work and like critiquing.
Well those are just some of my ideas, as for a name I'm thinking of doing "Fabricating Fictionalist" or maybe "Noble Novelist" not sure yet though and am open to ideas!

This is a really great idea. I wouldn't be able to specialize in anything except maybe critiquing others works. But I'd definitely like to be an apprentice.

(': I would personally like to do descripion so how about you run plot development? and also should we make all the threads matchy-matchy or have each one be unique with graphics and coding??? and i think we have too  were you friends with madama butterfly/bunbury by any chance? |

Hmm, I think all of them should share a common theme, but that doesn't mean each one can't have a different banner with some different color variations!
I knew Madama Butterfly! Not too well, but I ran into her a few times. She was very nice.
