I'm starting to understand Ivypool a little more, but I'd still go for Dovewing because of her haters and just the fact that she's so misunderstood.

I personally like them both, but I think that Ivypool was more interesting.

I feel like both of them have major flaws, but Ivypool did way more for the prophecy than Dovewing ever did, so I guess she's sort of cooler.

They're both in my top ten.

both I guess
Dovewing was pretty annoying to read about, and Ivypool made some bad decisions, but I found them both pretty understandable and think they could be pretty cool if the writing itself had been different

Dovewing isn't bad, but I found her so incredibly dull while reading about her that I prefer Ivypool.

Ivypool. Dovewing is just unbearable to read about.

I may go for both now tbh. I still like Dovewing more but I am starting to respect Ivypool a bit more and even sympathize with her, but mostly in SotM, because she's been shown as physically exhausted due to her visits in the Dark Forest and lonely with her sister being gone from the journey. But Ivypool didn't feel jealous of her sister this time and I respect her for that. She has definitely matured and I like her a little more now. I say both for me this time

I am on Ivypool's side, because she is loyal, brave smart, while Dovewing is rude, whiny, and blind to reality. Plus, she just had to choose Tigerheart. He is not a good cat, in my opinion, because all he cares about seeing Dovewing, and his apprentice ended up with the rogues! Dovewing is so rude to Bumblestripe, and she got whiny and complained about her powers.
Ivypool all the way.

Dovewing because Ivypool reminds me of my brothers who are an absolute nusance and jerks that whine so much that I literally strangled one to make them shut so I can sleep! Whoa, you literally strangled your brother to make him shut up?

I fail to see how Bumblestripe was rude to Dovewing. Every time he tried to talk to her, she would snap at him. Plus, Dovewing us not as loyal, clever, or strong as Ivypool. Dovewing is whiny.

I’m not particularly fond of either of them… And it's especially so because their character arcs clash with each other (Dovewing hated being special, Ivypool simply wanted to be special)… Too bad they couldn't trade places or something at some point, so they could understand each other better. It might've alleviated a lot of needless drama…
