What do you guys think of her?
I personally don't have a problem with her, nor do I blame her for shutting down the tunnels since there actually were very valid reasons for doing this: Lilywhisker was crippled and retired early (and was apparently bitter about this for the rest of her life and went to the Dark Forest, but that's besides the point), Leafshine was killed in the same cave-in, an entire patrol nearly drowned, and Sandgorse died. All of this happened in just one year.
The tunnels were incredibly dangerous and unpredictable, more so than above ground. Not only that, but there was also a rift between the moor runners and the tunnelers, and WindClan could've been driven out much earlier than they were had the greenleaf rogues not been there since nearly all the tunnelers were... well, away tunneling.
The concept of tunneling was interesting and unique to WindClan and helped provide food for them especially during leaf-bare, but it does seem to do a lot more harm than good if lives are being put at stake here. Banning tunneling was honestly for the best.
As for naming Hopkit Deadpaw, yeah there doesn't seem to be much of an explanation for that other than the reasoning Deadpaw himself gave.
