When Rowanstar came to ThunderClan and was like "you educate your apprentices wrong, we found one of them on our territory" when literally half of his Clan went to join some rogue band
it isn't Warriors without a good pile of hypocrisy crap

He is a terrible leader, a terrible father and mate too.
First he questions Tawnypelt's loyalty just because she went to see Brambleclaw while on border patrol, and being antagonistic over her originally being a TC cat. Even another ShadowClan cat was like calm your boots its her brother. And then when they asked her to go with them to the mountains he was suddenly defending her loyalty against Russetfur because she's his mate now??? And then when they have kits Squirrelflight congratulates him and he is super pointed and rude toned saying they're strong pure ShadowClan kits, taking a barb at Squirrelflight. He apparently forgot his own mate has ThunderClan blood, smh.
Then when Flametail tries to tell him about his dream he didn't believe him, out of everyone that should have, his own father didn't listen. And what happens later? He dies under the ice.
Then in BrS he's so stubborn when it comes to asking other clans for help in such a dire situation, because he's trying to act all strong in front of his clan as their new leader. Without TC they would be starving because of those kittypets, that or the badgers would have driven them out, Dustpelt died for them, and Rowan was down right ungrateful. And when he found out Tawny asked Bramble for help he treated her like some kit, and just down right verbally chastised her, too blinded by pride to see how much they needed help.
Don't even get me started on his behavior in the new series, ugh. He says Needle has a claim to one of the kits, but man was it satisfying to see Bramble slam him for letting an apprentice behave the way Needle did and sneak off. It said he was utterly embarrassed, and I was like good. Also then he has the gall to ask Leafpool to stay in ThunderClan and help them, ugh, doesn't even ask Puddlepaw how he feels about becoming a medicine cat. And then there's this, that you pointed out, with them finding Twigpaw and whatnot on SC territory. He has no room to talk. He got what he deserved, he's a dumb leader and didn't deserve to replace Blackstar.
