It makes me angry how Firestar believed in Ivypaw's dream so easily. It just seemed so out of character that he actually wanted to attack ShadowClan. While this is definitely a good flaw for him (Talking to you, people who use the "gary-stu" excuse!) it wasn't handled the right way. The way how Firestar accepted it seemed so rushed. He jumped right into accepting a fight. I can totally understand why Blackstar may dislike him for this. Firestar gave up a piece of their territory to him, only ending up taking it back. Firestar even told Blackstar that he knows ThunderClan has enough prey to spare for his own Clan, but not ShadowClan? Firestar said so a long time ago in PoT that the piece of territory was prey-poor! Why the heck would he use prey as an excuse to take it back?
Honestly, this scene really bothered me. It was out of character, written poorly and some of it didn't even make sense. The battle was a waste too, and while I dislike Flametail, I do understand why he hates ThunderClan. The battle was unfair, and knowing how prideful Blackstar is, he definitely won't just give it back.
