What characters have you changed your opinion on?
I used to really hate Hollyleaf before OOTS was released. It wasn't because of what she did in Sunset, but because I just found her extremely snobby and annoying. I remember being so glad that she "died" because that's how much I hated her. But then over time I started to love her and she's my second favorite character. I don't remember why my opinion changed.
I used to love Ivypool. Before OOTS I was hoping she would be apart of the prophecy because I liked the name Ivykit more at the time. And then as the series went on I liked her a lot. I thought she was great. But then I reread the books and I didn't really like her anymore. She just became really boring and unlikable for me.
Clear Sky. I absolutely hated him at first. The anger I feel for Needletail is how I felt about him at first. Everything he did in the first three books just set me off. Then he became pretty decent from the rest of the series on, and now I like him. He's got great development

Dovewing. Many rants on her on here and WCF changed my opinion. I used to despise her, but then someone *coughvelvetcough* made me change my opinion on her as neutral.

I used to hate Dovewing and Lionblaze, but I like them now.
I used to like Millie before I read the books - I only knew her in the mangas at first - but once she became more prominent I began disliking her.

I used to like Needletail, before TAS was released. Now, I despise her. (Though I still find her to be an interesting character).

I used to love Jayfeather. I loved his grumpy personality and how loyal he was to his Clan. But then when Alderheart came around, I could not stand his behavior. Jayfeather was really harsh (no, not abusive, but yes, harsh), kept scolding Alderheart constantly even after getting something done right. He didn't forgive Squirrelflight or Leafpool after a very long time. Leafpool I can totally understand, but Squirrelflight? She raised him and took care of him. But instead he was too furious with her and he was too stubborn to accept that she indeed loved him.
I used to love Bumblestripe. But then I realized that he is Ashfur 2.0, guilt tripping Dovewing just because she doesn't share his feelings, said creepy things to her in her ears about kittens, he was always clingy and never respected her space. No wonder Dovewing snaps at him. He's a creep.
Ivypool used to be one of my top 5 favorites until I dug deeper into Dovewing's POV. Ivypool was jealous over something that wasn't Dovewing's fault, bullied her, and she didn't even spy even though she promised. Plus she isnt the greatest written character either. Jealousy is an overused plot idea, and it just makes everything predictable. Ivypool was jealous over Dovewing's popularity. While she did mature a lot later on, I can't forget the fact that she was just so immature and wanted to be better than her sister. Dovewing eventually understood her sister's feelings; why didn't Ivypool understand her more?
And I am not debating. Sorry.

Blackstar. I actually hated him at first, and now he's my absolute favorite character in the books. Graystripe, used to love him but now he's ew. Billystorm, used to dislike, now I like Silverstream, used to love, now I hate I seriously can't imagine you hating Blackstar I used to hate Daisy and Dovewing but now I like them |

I liked Spottedleaf and hated Clawface back when I had only read the first few books (though honestly I think most people felt that way when they were younger and read the books for the first time)
The irony about this is that I like Clawface now while I hate Spottedleaf xD

I used to like Spottedleaf, but after looking into her character more, I hated her.
I also used to like Brambleclaw, but I began picking up on how jerky he was.

Seeing the other posts... jup I definitely forgot that I used to like Onewhisker and Bramblepaw too until they became Onestar and Brambleclaw
While I can understand Onestar's actions to the extend that he just wanted his clan to be independent from ThunderClan, what he does makes zero sense.
Brambleclaw on the other hand showed a lot of promise in the first series... until TNP happened and he just became an idiot
