so i need to wash my stuffed bear and i feel this is a stupid thing for an 18 year old boy at college to text his mom about so i remember when i was younger my mom would put my bear in a pillow case before putting him in the wash and that always worked just fine but i don't remember if he went in the dryer or not ?? most of what i've found online says to air-dry stuffed animals but i don't remember him being gone that long. like i don't remember having to go a night w/o him bc he was drying. so i assume he was put in the dryer too but i'm not sure?? btw if his helps the bear is at least 7 years old now so it's an older stuffed animal but it's never had any tears or rips or lost an eye anything else i'm worried about. it's just kinda old and lookin kinda grungy so i wanna wash him ya know

Does the bear still have the tag on it? Sometimes they should have washing instructions.
And if not then I don't see any harm txting ur mom but my suggestion is if you are going to put him in the dryer put it on like the delicate setting if there is one? I think it depends on the materials it's made of

do you have a hair dryer? i've read that using a cool-ish setting on one of those works. i've never done it, though.

a lot of the time, its not good to dry stuffed animals bc the heat from the dryer can cause the fur to clump up if he has fur. just wash him as early you can and let him sit in the sun for the rest of the day. let him sit outside if you can!
