Yeahhhh, I've been putting this off for far too long. Time to kick myself into action and get to work on my Halloween costume. I love costumes okay? Okay. But I'm at a loss for ideas, and I've got limited time, so... chat with me? Share your costume ideas? Etc.? :'D

Oh gosh. Costumes. The last homemade costume I had was a green dragon which I wore in one of the early years of elementary school. It wasn't even Halloween. Pretty sure it was the carnival. we just walked around dancing and singing. my claws were falling off and it was very hard to walk with that thing on. I've wanted to make a costume myself for a while now, but I'm just too lazy Basically, I doubt I will be of much help when it comes to advice on making said costume. I'd love to chat however And of course, good luck on your costume, Wind. Hopefully you can get it done in time for Halloween. As for ideas, I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something.

sand dollarWhoaaaa, that looks so nice. Honestly I wish I had time to find a realistic foam sword xD I'd totally make a costume entirely revolving around that... As it is, I'm considering trying to put together a ninja costume? Or maybe Jedi cause I love Star Wars too much haha.

☆starLightCuriosity That sounds pretty cool o.o even if you're not making a costume (it's understandable) I'd love to chat with you (: maybe I'll get inspired. Eh, it turned out pretty... weird looking xD I had cardboard wings, which if I remember correctly, were covered up with a red tablecloth we used during Christmas. I did the ideas, my mother did all the actual work. I could probably come up with something better now... I'd show you a picture, but I have no clue where they might be. Though I have yet to make my own costume, I have made my own plushies... With the help of someone that worked at my Elementary school, I made a Toothless plush. Sadly, I have no idea where it is. It was the first plushie I ever made and I was so proud of it. More recently I made this simple little Octopus plushie, or as I like to call it, an Octoplush .3. I had very limited materials since they were all leftovers from an unfinished project. I kind of messed up with the hat and the eyes, so I just built around my mistakes. i ended up with a very sad looking octoplush.

Windsong- jeff is from an infamous creepypasta/internet legend of the same name. basically, he has black pants, a white zip up hoodie, shoulder length black hair, and a "joker" smile (cheeks cut into permanent grin)

kiddoOhhh, I see. I bet that's going to be creepy... John 3:16That'll be a really awesome final touch. I hope it looks great! ...news just in: apparently a lot of people don't trick-or-treat in my area?! I don't know whether to trust this or not. I hope it's untrue ;-;

John 3:16That looks really cool! :3 Probably looks cooler with the contacts as well. gosh darn it. the talk of contacts has reignited my want for those dragon eyes i saw years ago... x_xWindsong Thanks, and yes. A Toothless plush Trust me. The idea sounds better than what the finished product looked like. And that says something. those flat, cardboard wings that kept getting in the way... ah memories. I was pretty happy with it back when it was actually made though. Perhaps one day I'll make my own costume. Who knows

...news just in: apparently a lot of people don't trick-or-treat in my area?! I don't know whether to trust this or not. I hope it's untrue ;-; ... someone get the eggs and toilet paper.
But seriously, if that's true, that really sucks... Hopefully it isn't. Trick-or-treating is so much fun ;-; Do you mean that the people just don't hand out candy, or do you mean that kids don't go trick-or-treating? Or both? Free candy day. You can't just not do free candy day. You need some of that free candy day in your life. At the very least a couple of times! I myself won't be going trick-or-treating. I hate saying it, but I'm a "bit too old for that." It's not that I feel like I'm too good for it, or anything like that, it's just I'd prefer to avoid the awkwardness. Also, I'd rather be at home eating good candy rather than some okay to meh candy with a couple of raisins or something else healthy here and there. On the subject of healthy "candy" on candy days, why in the world do people put oranges and socks in Easter eggs. It might just be my grandma, but still. you don't do that. The orange thing however is not just my grandma, as far as I know. Typical Norwegian apparently contains oranges and Kit Kat rip-offs. so proud of my country *sheds a tear*.

☆starLightCuriosity If you do, I hope it turns out well! Yeahhh, I'm just hoping it's not true :'P I mean... who skips Halloween, like you said? I think probably the first (most people don't go out) but maybe the second too? I've only heard this from one source. I'd better see what other info I can gather. I'm the most awkward person in the universe, so I get it. I'm fifteen, but I've got no intention of skipping trick-or-treating - at least, not this year. And even when I do stop, I think I'll always wear a costume. I just love it. It's like the one day of the year when I can be anything and anyone. Just without epic powers Dx pffft please no not the raisins. Just no. That's... interesting. I guess I can understand oranges, kinda, but... socks? That's got me off balance. As for Kit Kat ripoffs - are they as good as normal Kit Kats? XD

WindsongThanks Yeah. You've gone trick-or-treating before though, right? Surely you can determine it from past experience. Or is it just that you've never gone in that area? o.O I'm guessing you simply haven't been trick-or-treating there before, but just making sure. I'm fifteen as well. Another reason why I don't want to go however is because I'm lazy. I'd rather stay home with my parents and my African grey xP ikr. Don't put socks and random non-candy objects in my Easter eggs please. That is, unless that non-candy object is money. But, I doubt I would ever get any money in my Easter egg. at least not real money. Chocolate coins, perhaps. As for the Kit Kat ripoff... I feel like it would have to be based on preference. Though I think our version, called "Kvikk Lunsj", tastes better overall, I kind of prefer Kit Kat, probably because they aren't as easily obtained here. You can't just go to your everyday grocery store and buy a Kit Kat. You can buy them at candy stores that import from other countries though...

I'm going to reuse the mediocre Latula (from Homestuck) cosplay I wore to a couple of conventions earlier this year. I feel like it'd be weird to cosplay as such a specific character on Halloween and even weirder to cosplay Homestuck in 2016, but considering how much stress and money went into putting that thing together, I figure I should get as many uses out of it as possible. I'm too old to be trick-or-treating, but I'm going to accompany my sister when she goes and steal half of her candy. Here's a picture of the two of us (if you're not familiar with Homestuck, I'm on the right). I stole it from someone's Instagram because I don't have a single decent picture of my own lol. I might make a few adjustments; right now I'm thinking about repainting the horns, since the colors are a bit off. My wig looks horrid here, but that's mostly because it got messed up in the car and the picture was taken before I got a chance to find a mirror and comb it... still, I'm going to try to style it better, even though my sister sort of ruined it by trimming it badly when I was at school.

☆starLightCuriosity Yeah xD but I'm not in the same spot this year, hence the confusion. So you would be correct c: *high fives* Well, that's a good reason to stay home. *runs away from mountain of socks* huh, that doesn't sound bad at all. I kind of wish I could try that to compare it to the Kit Kat I know now. @onewordtyler That sounds awesome! I hope it turns out great. Pantherstar That looks super cool - I hope that you can fix up the wig c: and haha, yes, one can't just celebrate Halloween without getting that candy somehow. Dawnwing Arr, will ye be plundering the houses ye come across? I'm sorry I couldn't resist. I like pirate-speak. XDGengar Whoa, really??? *applause* That's so awesome. I was actually thinking about doing something Star Wars related, but probably not Rey. @striker I don't think I know the character o.o would you mind telling me more? Dollar store shampooOooh, I bet that's going to look great... 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃Definitely does count. I don't know the characters, but that does sound very cool. @blubberywhales *nods* any specific type of cat? c;

I suppose a black cat, but more glitzy. Like there is a mask, it's more of a masquerade kind of cat mask, I think it's really pretty. Cause I like a little sparkle here and there.

he's the main character and narrator from the book and movie 'John Dies at the End.' so really all i need is my red flannel, a hat (i think he wears one in the movie?? or at least see him wearing a hat), my jeans, ratty running shoes, a leather jacket, and a baseball bat. all i need is the bat and i'm gonna print some pages that look like bible pages, tear them up a bit, and tape them to the bat.
