I was thinking about this, how do you think the Warriors Movie would affect us, the fandom?
I think that we'd get a bunch of new people joining us who have only seen the movie, and not the books.

like with any book to movie adaptation, that's kind of...a problem? because im already seeing this movie not having the same things as the first series (and imo, first series is the best).

I see the fandom growing, and more people knowing about Warriors. I feel like if you ask someone who isn't an avid reader, or someone who is older, they won't know what Warriors is. Maybe a movie can make more people know about it, and hopefully it will look interesting to people. I'm also hoping that there will be merchandise!

If the movie is good: more people will be buying the books and joining the fandom. only con of this is the people who join without actually reading the books and having opinions on the characters based on the movie and not what they actually did in the books.
If the movie is bad: the possible end of the series. warriors would become even more of a laughing stock. and by this i mean to all the people who have never picked up a warriors book in their life but still judge it and say it's stupid because it's about talking cats. those people will continue to hate on the movie, and it could possibly even drive fans away. a bad movie will not encourage people to check out the books. harpercollins could see this as a major failure and decide to end warriors.

This might make me sound ignorant, but shouldn't the movie not have too much of an effect on the book series? I mean, how could it cancel the series if it turns out bad? Because I thought the books are still set to be released next year.
Anyways, I'm kind of excited, but kind of nervous about the animation and voice actors.
I hope it's in anime style.
Though a thing I'm iffy on is the voice actors. I have different voices for most of the cats already in my mind.
I'll just have to suck it up when it comes out.
Regardless how it turns out, I'm still glad there is going to be a movie.
I'm horrible with change. I need to do my best to grow out of it.
