I'm so excited for this. I've been waiting for almost 10 years for this. I have faith that they will stay true. The film studio is foreign and indie (I guess), which I think gives them more leeway to do what they want, and I think they will stay true to the books.
I was tearing up when I saw Kate's tweet, and I know I will cry when I see the trailer. I can't believe this is going to happen.

I'm so excited for this. I've been waiting for almost 10 years for this. I have faith that they will stay true. The film studio is foreign and indie (I guess), which I think gives them more leeway to do what they want, and I think they will stay true to the books. Even if the film were aimed towards children (I personally think it will be more serious than that), I would still love it. The only thing I wonder is if the movie studio (who is Chinese) will make it an English movie, or not. I think the movie will be beautiful. |

What was Kate's tweet? I don't use twitter. But YES FINALLY Kate's Twitter: Finally, I can share our big news! WARRIORS MOVIE! All I know atm is "Alibaba Pictures" and "in development". I'll keep you posted. Kate's Facebook: Finally, I can share the news! WARRIORS MOVIE! IKR? At last!  Alibaba Pictures want to make a film of Warriors! I can't tell you anything more about it right now, but there will be plenty to share in the months ahead! Vicky also posted a video about it that I haven't watched yet. |

I just found out about this. I just got up from where I was sitting on the cough, walked to my room, and went onto the forums. When I saw a video saying there was going to be a Warriors movie in my recommended videos on YouTube I was so shocked and surprised I couldn't even react properly xD
I just sat there, wide eyed and silent.
Never heard of Alibaba Pictures though. First time I've ever heard of them. A Chinese film company I've never heard of is probably the last company I would expect to make an official Warriors movie. Always imagined it would be one that was more well-known. I won't judge it before I've seen some actual footage or at least some concept arts however. The thing I am most curious about is what the cats are going to look like...
If they decide to go through with it, this could get pretty interesting... Excited to see what comes out of this.

Yeah, Alibaba hasn't actually made a movie by themselves yet, but they did help with some more popular movies such as Mission Impossible - Rouge Nation, and Star Trek Beyond. They also seem to have quite a few movies they will be making before the warriors movie. |

I don't know how I feel about this.....
well for one, I'm not sure that it will get the film quality this series deserves from a China film industry. (and I'm not being racist about this, I just don't think any film companies other than America's and/or Europe's could do a good job on this. Literally all indie movies aren't that great, especially animation. well, there are a few exceptions...)
I'm just totally expecting a guardians of Gahoole feel going into this and I KNOW it won't get it.....
.....Also, I kinda wanted to be the one to start a 3d production on this thing. 030 I've been mapping it all out and started a script. This has been my dream for at least 5 years now.....o3o

On the other hand, they could easily do it some other way that completely changes the plot and makes the movie horrible. |

We just installed NowTV. I was pretty impressed that I could go on Youtube and check out LZRDWZ-HOLY MOTHER OF FIRESTAR A WARRIORS MOVIE
By Jaysus, they`d better get it right. Or we can sue.
Also, if it`s in Chinese with a terrible English dub, I am going to go live with Harambe. (Jkjk)
