I have been to Rome twice, once this spring and first when i was just nine. two of my siblings went to a uni that offered a semester at their campus outside rome, so we used it as an excuse to visit. we saw assisi on the weekend, too, and that was breathtaking
we also went to london for a few days

that sounds so fun!! one of my good friends is a second-generation Bosnian-American and she just got back from visiting family in Bosnia
the only place I've been to in Europe is Greece, when I was in 4th grade! it was wonderful (tho i was not a happy camper when we went to ruins oops) and i especially loved Oia, Santorini. i got to play with some kittens (there's lots of stray animals aha it's sad) and my parents narrowly avoided getting pickpocketed on the subway in Athens which was exciting. 8") right around that time (2010) we got to witness the anti-austerity protests on the streets of Athens yikes
but overall it was a 10/10 experience would go again!! it's so nice to sit ina restaurant and not be rushed out the door and get complimentary fruit slices with your meal for dessert

i lived in europe when i was a baby and toddler, so i don't remember anything, but i know my parents brought me EuroDisney (near Paris?). I guess it's kinda comparable to Disneyland in LA? Oh, and in Paris, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is a popular mall. Also, my parents (and toddler me) visited Dachau, a concentration camp. It's very depressing (obviously) but my parents appreciated (for lack of a better term) the museum, and the camp itself is a real eye-opener (as we usually only see pictures of it), apparently. While not a fun place to visit, it is a significant reminder of Nazi atrocities. My parents and I visited Neuchwanstein Castle, which I can imagine how awe-inspiring it would have been to see how royalty actually lived. Anyway, my parents visited places which were mainly in the area of Germany and France; idk where you're going! I honestly wish I had lived in Germany for a longer period of time, so that I could grow old enough to form actual memories of it!

Europe is great not that i'm biased or anything! I've lived here all my life, in Sweden and also Britain. If you're a nature kind of person, I reccommend the Downs in south England or the Lake District, if you're heading to Britain. South England in general is beautiful. If you're going to Scandinavia, the fjords are wonderful, as are the mountains along the Sweden-Norway border. I can't give much advice on what to do in the rest of Europe since I've only ever been as a tourist.
My favourite cities have to be Brighton, Paris, Rome and Stockholm. Stockholm is closest to me, obviously, so I go a few times a year, and we're hopefully going to Rome next year which is really exciting! As for things to expect, I'm not so sure. Really, everything depends on where you're going. But yeah, Europe is wonderful and I love it so much and I'm glad to have lived here my whole life.

I've been to Europe three times; most of my time was spent in Belgium since that is my dad's home country. I've also gone to Paris and Germany along with stops in Copenhangen. I'm more fascinated with the culture + the way things work over there compared to the U.S. I don't exactly like how things are run here due to the fact I've had troubles with things such as healthcare. I kinda would like to move to Europe though I suck at speaking French whereas I can write, read and understand it very well. Wherever you're going, I'm sure it'll be super nice :>

Europe is sick bro, you're lucky to be going now before brexit changes everything
Amsterdamn is my favourite place so far, it's unlike anything I've ever seen. it really cant be described to justice via text??? you have to expeirence it I adored Italy went I want there, especially Amalfi it was like something off a movie set?? can't believe it's a real place San Sebastian!!!!!!!! is incredible!!!!!!! it's like, the perfect place to live???? absolutely amazing?????? I could spend years there, and always love going back I've been to Germany once or twice, but only as a very young child so I don't remember much of it, but I know my dad loves it (he's from there) and has only the highest praise Lagos and the Algarve in general is the place of some of my fondest memories. Treat yo self and go there some day. Geographically and culturally, it's amazing London is only across the water but it feels like another world?? Everything you'll ever need to see is on London, it's like a country in itself. I've been to Folgaria to ski once, and it was breath taking. I love big mountains so I fell in love instantly with that place. I'd rlly love to go back some day Stratford-Upon-Avon is like a land lost in time, and everywhere you look there's Shakespeare, so pretty, built on a river (the avon, funny enough) Spain is great too!! I loved Barcalona, it's a really beautiful city!! Edinburgh is gorgeous and it is legit a fairy tale city, there's even a massive castle in the city center
