I know a lot of you have been looking forward to these coming back, and I have, too! However, I'm unsure if I'm going to move them here, because I've already started a group for them on Figment. figment.com/groups/34211-Tuesday-ChallengesYou have to be a Figment member to join the group and post stories, but I highly recommend giving it a try. Figment has measures in place to prevent anyone but you from copy-pasting your work (if you have plagiarism concerns like myself), and its system of "publishing" books is really handy. You're not actually publishing with a publishing house, of course, just making the work available online, but the books remove the need to flounder through coding, help you organize your material into chapters automatically, and if you frequently enter the challenges, you could have one book for the challenges only, where each chapter is a separate entry. Additionally, the comment/review and heart options can really give you both a sense of how people are reacting to your work, not to mention it gives you an avenue to react to others' work! It's very connected once there are enough people participating. As of right now, the next TC prompt will be available in the Figment group on August 2nd, probably before noon EST. §Moonwing§ - i take it you mean post them to both sites? yes, you may, but i really prefer that you prioritize a figment entry, since that's the home base now. additionally, all winners will get the chance to add their story to the tuesday challenge group books, which is a figment exclusive function. if you have any questions about figment, feel free to pm me any time!

Razz - have you looked at the wcf refuge group on my profile? that has some guides to navigating figment. if that doesn't help, shoot me a pm and let me know what you're having trouble with. c: Brownie - atm, i want to run it solely through figment and see how it goes. if it does poorly there, i'll move it here, but i really want to see if it works on that platform. there's a prompt up there now, actually.

from what i know, it's much better than wattpad. and if you don't want to, you don't have to go far behind the small warriors community i'm trying to foster. just curious: what do you not like about figment? Okay, it seems that way haha I don't really want to talk about it. Bad experience, sorry. Im really sad that the forums are closing, but this place seems good. |

ah, okay. that's fair. and yeah, i don't think there's anyone who's not at least a little disappointed with the wcf shutdown. it's been pretty solid here, though! i think it's well run so far, and when tomo chooses mods, i think that will help a little more. there haven't been a great deal of rule violations that i've seen, but having a few mods to hold the fort down won't hurt. Right now I'm just trying to gather up my old stuff from the forums and revive it In unrelated news there has been 200 something Lightningclan's |

definitely a good idea before friday rolls around and everything is gone. really, as long as you have everything backed up before the shutdown, you can take your time actually posting it. i've got a few things saved on documents ready to move over, but i haven't actually moved them yet. on the wcf? i can't really be surprised. it's a popular name. there has been three abyssclans One Bermudaclan And I think 300 Nightclan's Oh no |

a few times in the past, though i focus chiefly on my fics now. i don't have the time to devote to running an rp anymore, not when i'm more concerned with the challenges. that, and i dislike dealing with the number of people who join and never come back. it's a waste of my time. Honestly, I'm kind of the reverse. I try to write something but I devote most of my time to Roleplays. I usually give them a week and if they don't respond they get removed. Now, I have to go create Elementalclan. Let's hope this works.... |
