**KEEP IN MIND**
This isn't really for the forums, but Deviantart. The hatred and belief for Dovewing not caring about her sister is mostly shown on there instead of here, but I will still post this anyways.
Oh and I'm not gonna have a huge argument with anyone on here if they're gonna debate with me about Ivypool lol, I'm done arguing about them, at least for now, because they're freaking fictional characters and I really don't care all that much anymore.
I still don't understand why people think that Dovewing doesn't care about her sister. In fact, it's been shown multiple times that she does indeed care for Ivypool.
When she returned from the journey to the beavers, Dovepaw wanted to see only her sister. She ignored the others:
They even spent the night together out on a walk later that night.
Dovewing would never leave Ivypool for Tigerheart.
She told the Three that she was worried that Ivypool might get killed in the Dark Forest.
She wanted to tell Ivypaw about the prophecy, because it was driving her friendship with her sister apart.
"Well, Dovewing left her sister a lot!"
But she didn't. At least, not on purpose. I've seen videos of people making Dovewing leave her sister like she doesn't care, but that's not true. When she does leave her, it's because someone calls her for a secret meeting about any news from the other Clans, or if they have to talk about the prophecy.
"She said she hated her!"
She was in a lot of pressure by the time she said that. And it's not like Ivypool was any better, either. Ivypool also insulted her by calling her a "soppy dove". Ivypool already pressured Dovewing enough, trying to make her sister believe that Tigerheart was training in the Dark Forest. If Dovewing didn't want to hear it, then Ivypool shouldn't have tried to force her to listen to her. No, I'm not saying she held her sister down and told her in her ears - she never left Dovewing alone. Ivypool was being a bully in Night Whispers.
Dovewing loves her sister. She wouldn't even leave her for Tigerheart! I don't understand why some people still believe that Dovewing doesn't love her. That's not true. She loves her, even more than Tigerheart. Both Ivypool and Dovewing just had normal sister rivalry, and in the end they did make it up to each other and moved on.

Trying to ignore the excited questions, Dovepaw strained upward on the tips of her paws, peering over the heads of the cats who surrounded her.
Where is she?
At last she spotted Ivypaw hanging back from the crowd, casting a shy glance at her sister and then gazing down at her paws. Dovepaw shouldered her way through the cats until she reached her sister.
"Ivypaw!" she mewed. "I've missed you so much!" - The Fourth Apprentice, page 291

Dovewing would never leave Ivypool for Tigerheart.
Maybe she should join ShadowClan? The idea flashed wildly in Dovepaw's mind, making her heart soar.
Don't be stupid! I'm one of the Three. She couldn't leave Jayfeather and Lionblaze to face the Dark Forest warriors alone. And deep down, she knew that she couldn't leave Ivypaw. - Night Whispers, page 182

She told the Three that she was worried that Ivypool might get killed in the Dark Forest.
Dovepaw stared at him, openmouthed. Rage roared up from her belly. "I've got to stop her?" she spat. "What do you think I've been trying to do? And not just because all of her scratches and swellings and sprains might give away our secret." She thrust her muzzle into Jayfeather's face. "Because I'm scared she's going to get killed!" - Night Whispers, page 174
She wanted to tell Ivypaw about the prophecy, because it was driving her friendship with her sister apart.
"Please can I tell Ivypaw about the prophecy?"
Jayfeather sighed and went back to his sweeping. "No."
"But it's making it really hard to stay friends with her."
"How?"
"She thinks I'm getting special treatment."
"She's jealous?"
"No!" Dovepaw suddenly felt defensive of her sister. Then she sighed. "Well, yes, sort of. I guess." - Fading Echoes, page 188
