Do you prefer paperbacks or hardcovers? Or do you prefer to buy audiobooks or ebooks?
I like both of them. I have both paperbacks and hardcovers in my Warriors book collection. I buy paperback when I'm not going to bring it to school (like for vacation, in the summer, etc.) and I'll buy hardcovers for when I decide on bringing it to school. I usually bring my books to read at school since that's the main place I read (I read more there than I do in my house) I have all the Warriors super editions but some of them are paperback and I'm bringing them to school and they keep getting bent, so I'm thinking about getting the hardcovers for them. I have lots of space in my backpack so it doesn't really make it harder to carry around.
I've never used audiobooks or e-books, I prefer the actual physical book.
Here is a list of cons and pros for both of them.
Paperback Pros: Easier to carry around Smaller and not as heavy
Paperback Cons: Easier to rip, bend and tear You have to hold the book in order to read it
Hardcover Pros: More durable Usually the first edition so it will be worth more later on
Hardcover Cons: Heavier Big, not easy to carry around

i prefer hardcover because i get really annoyed when things are too bent and stuff like that. i like both in general tho. like as long as paperback doesn't look like it's been put through the washing machine a few times.. i voted hardcover.

Hardcover. All my paperback books get spine creases from being read many times and they rip easier

Hardcover, mainly because I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to new books and they have to look absolutely perfect all the time. However, if I borrowed them from the library then paperback because it's easier to carry.

Paperback. It's just easier to work with for me.

I must say Hardcover. They tend to be prettier and can sometimes come with posters X3

I would have to say I prefer hardcover. Paperbacks are more delicate than hardcover books (and even though I try to reduce the number of creases and rips on the papaerback covers, a few paperback books I have owned for a long time do have some). And honestly, for whatever reason, hardcover books almsot have a "nicer feel" in my hand (like I am holding something really important that must be protected at all costs; plus it is really fancy). Idk, maybe that is just me.
