i havent made a str8 character in 3 years now and its been the best 3 years of my life its like closeted me could only make characters i didnt rlly like and then BAM the gay struck and it was a second birth for me
i am sort of joking but i mean it when i say that i think making straight ocs was something i only did because i felt so miserable and confused about my orientation.

I'd make all mine aro ace if given the chance, because ain't nobody got time for romance.
but then things get fluffy and cute....
seriously though for the most my ocs are a blank slate when it comes to that sort of thing. like whatever makes them happy or has the best development is what I usually go with.

I rarely give any thought to my characters' orientations because I cannot write romance.

i like how you guys dont even try to make straight characters. who cares if you cant hold all those gays? let them spill out. let them flood the earth.

I personally think straight relationships with my characters aren't as cute. For some reason gay romance is so much easier to write for me.

I have a bunch of bi and pan characters as well, but I have mostly female characters so they can't really date guys. The reason for this is because I'm bad at making guy characters for some reason.

I never really make anyone with an orientation 'cause I like to wait and see what happens. Sometimes they end up straight, but hardly ever. Most of them end up bi tho.

With me I just create a character and they kind of do their own thing.
Like, I'll start with a concept and it'll slowly evolve from there

My characters all do their own thing, too, don't get me wrong. Their thing is just gay.

I don't really focus on romance in my stories so therefore my characters hardly ever get a sexuality. I've only given three characters a set sexuality in my stories and that was because the plot called for it for the most part.
