What if Bluestar's kits were given to RiverClan for another reason?
Hear me out on this. It'll all make sense in the end.
The only reason Bluestar gave up her kits in the first place was so she could become deputy instead of Thistleclaw. We know that Thistleclaw would have never become deputy because Sunstar saw right through him to who he really is. That means that Bluestar gave up her kits for nothing.
So, now the next question. If it really was for nothing, then why did Goosefeather suggest to Bluestar that she had to give up her kits? After all, he can see the future and he knows that Thistleclaw would never become deputy. So, why'd he do it? Simple: Mistykit. That fact that he could see the future is exactly why Bluestar had to give up her kits. So, Mistykit could grow up and become Mistystar. But he couldn't tell Bluestar that. So he had to trick her into doing it. Hence why he was constantly mentioning the doom ThunderClan would face under Thistlestar. He always knew that Thistleclaw would never become leader.
There is also the possibility that Bluestar wouldn't have become leader if Sunstar had picked another young cat as deputy. So that means Goosefeather has a twofold reason for tricking Bluestar into giving up her kits. He ensured that two cats destined to become leaders of their respective Clans achieved their destinies. That is why Bluestar had to give up her kits.

Oh my Lord and FireStar wouldn't happen quickly since Mistyfoot would be deputy at that time, Since MistyStar will become leader.
