You are a young leopard, roaming a more dense area of the Savanna, trees providing a welcoming respite from the heat of the day. You are rather thirsty however and you soon stumble across a pool. Crouching down to lap at the water, you hear the bushes rustle and soon, another leopard has shoved you into the water before pouncing on you. You manage to throw the other cat off and wait for the next attack, only to see the leopardess twitching her whiskers in amusement. She looks rather young too. "Well, that was fun. Would you like to come talk to my leader or will I have to chase you off?" She asks, her tail wavering through the water. You pause for a moment before you nod. You've been on your own for too long.

Rules
-Be active: We run on a three strike warning system. I understand that you have a life outside the forums, I do too. But please warn me before you just disappear for extended periods of time.
-Forum rules are my rules
-Please, for the love of cheese, be descriptive with forms and replies! No one-liners, please. If you have issues being descriptive, look up synonyms for the word that you want to use. Flesh out your character and actions, but don't overdo it.
-Literacy: I get it, we all make mistakes every now and then with spelling, grammar, and punctuation. But if you continuously make mistakes and it's in character, people won't really want to roleplay with you. Really, the only thing that will happen is an overwhelming urge to correct you.
-No perfect characters or characters with odd colors. Different markings to set apart characters is fine, white, dark brown, and black cats are allowed but are not common. Your cat can't take on an elephant or a giraffe by itself and not everyone will like your character.
-Mates: Cats can secretly have a mate from another clan but think logically about size differences, no lion/caracal, leopard/serval, lion/serval, or leopard/caracal hybrids.
-Most important rule here, you ready? HAVE FUN!

Traditions
All queens that are close to giving birth, must leave their clan and have their kits before returning one moon later with their kits. They may remain on their territory or go to another clans territory, but they are not to be disturbed or attacked, even if they come from a rival clan.
All conflicts are to be put on hold during migration season.
Warrior code
Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats, especially if they are not of the same species of cat.
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. The kit must be returned to its clan either after being treated or for treatment.
The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
A warrior rejects all contact with two-legs.
Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.
No clan may deny another clan access to water in times of drought.
A nesting queen is to be left alone, even outside of her own territory.

Characters
Leader-
Dawnstar: Dawnstar is a pale, sandy coloured leopardess with golden eyes and a lithe build. She is one of the oldest cats in the clan and she holds a firm alliance with LionClan. She is a rather calm and patient cat, offering a sort of gentle presence and she rarely seems to feel any fear or hatred towards other cats. She is considered to be the most gentle and easy-going of the four clan leaders, though she is a bit intimidating to the two smaller clan leaders, given her ferocity in battle and the fact that she doesn't always know her own strength or weight when it comes to friendly affection between clans. RPed by: Rising Tragedy
Deputy-
Medicine Cat-
Ashcreek: Ashcreek is a surprisingly gray leopard, almost white, but not quite. He has gray eyes and a splash of pale yellow along his spine. He was born a darker gray and found outside of the clan, abandoned as a cub. He originally wanted to train as a warrior, but found that his oddly coloured pelt made it difficult for him to hunt and he was actually better at remembering herbs than battle moves. Like the leader of LeopardClan, he has a sort of quiet demeanor about him, though he is more stoic and stern with others than the leader. RPed by: Rising Tragedy
Warriors-
Apprentices-
Rosepaw: Rosepaw is a rather excitable and playful she-cat with a normal leopard pelt, except for a reddish tinge to her paws. She's the oldest apprentice but she still acts like a cub, always playing games. Like most of the young cats in the clan, she doesn't quite know her own strength and tends to throw her weight around a bit. She is larger than most cats her age, due to being a lion/leopard hybrid. She doesn't seem to be embarrassed by this fact, though. RPed by: Rising Tragedy
Rainpaw: Rainpaw's pelt is a darker tawny than others, but she uses it to her advantage when hunting. It's a terrible thing with heat, and she likes to spend a lot of her time near or in water. She loves to mess with tails and likes making grumpy warriors playful. Dark patches coat her fur. She is 14 moons old, and she is hoping to finish her training soon. Both of her parents are leopards but they left the clan for an unknown reason. RPed by: Peanutella
