i heard a funny noise from the corner of my room a couple weeks ago and it took me a few minutes to realize that my sister's rabbit has started to snore. she's doing it right now.
she stays with me while my sister is at college-- she's ancient, almost 9 years old (shes a dwarf rabbit and a runt on top of it, they usually only live to 6/7). i used to have my own rabbit, but she died a few years ago from kidney failure.
do y'all have any old pets??

we used to have a ton of pets, but my mom promised my dad (who is not an animal person) no more after we got my brother's last bird. they've all slowly died out since then.

My cat is about seven years old. I would kinda count that as old, especially in cat years. I got her when she was four.

I had a dwarf hamster, he was almost three years old when he died, which is old for dwarf hamsters

I came here to say that my rabbit snores, too. And sighs. Like, she just exhales deeply. As if she's bored or whatever. Pardon me, Lacy, should I buy you another log hut?
But yeah. My cats are 11 and 6.5 years old.

I had a rabbit, then we got a dog... ):
But my little chihuahua (different dog) snores so loud, I wake up in the middle of the night half asleep thinking there's something evil in my room. Then I look on the floor and realize it's just my ten pound dog.

•♕• uh, it might not be good shes snoring? she might have a respiratory infection... but she also might not ahha and just be snoring •♔• it's not deep-throated snoring, more of a gentle snuffling. it's not really serious, and so there's not much we can do about it. she's also as spry as she was when we first got her at 2 months. seriously, i hope i'm as healthy as her when i get that old

My parent's dog Diego is on his last limbs. We've had him since I was in like.... 4th grade? And he was about a hear old then. I'm now in my 4th year of college. He can't hear or see anymore but he always has a big dopey grin on his face. I'm gonna be a wreck when he passes.
