With people thinking a movie may be coming, here's a repost of the joke plot I made a while back.
In the forest, there are four Clans: ThunderClan, led by Firestar, RiverClan, led by Mistyfoot, WindClan, led by Breezepelt, and ShadowClan, led by Brokenstar. (The significance of names is dropped so that they don't have to explain it.) ThunderClan and ShadowClan are currently at war. ShadowClan is far stronger, but ThunderClan is fighting with all they have due to Firestar's incredible presence giving them a boost in morale. After a fierce battle, Firestar relaxes in his den, but his best friends, the wacky Graystripe and the meek Tigerclaw come by to tell him about a new threat that is rumoured to have emerged in the Twolegplace. Firestar, Tigerclaw, and Graystripe head to the Twolegplace to check it out.
Once there, they discover a copycat clan called BloodClan, which is led by a massive muscular Russian cat named Scourge, who uses a machine gun. The trio tries to fight Scourge, but he kills Firestar with his machine gun. Graystripe and Tigerclaw escape and bury their friend. Tigerclaw then worries that ThunderClan will lose morale and fall with the death of Firestar. Fortunately, Graystripe remembers that Firestar once mentioned that he had a brother living in Twolegplace named Rusty. Rusty is completely identical to Firestar, so Graystripe thinks that they could have him impersonate Firestar and lead ThunderClan to victory.
Unfortunately, Rusty is a lazy, pampered cat. He has all the newest technological toys, and spends most of his days playing video games with his neighbour, Smudge. Graystripe and Tigerclaw kidnap him to force him to become a wild cat, throwing away his iPad and literally dragging him to ThunderClan. When they get there, they find that ShadowClan is attacking, led by Brokenstar's strongest warriors, Scorcher (a mysterious tom from the Twolegplace who joined ShadowClan) and Silverstream. ThunderClan manages to win due to Rusty accidentally collapsing part of the ThunderClan camp on ShadowClan during his attempts to run away.
After the battle, Rusty intends to tell everyone that he isn't the real Firestar, but ThunderClan's medicine cat Sandstorm comes out to look at his wounds. He falls in love instantly and decides to keep up the act. He then goes to Graystripe and asks for training, which Graystripe agrees to give him. Tigerclaw claims that letting Rusty rule ThunderClan is a bad idea, but Graystripe shrugs it off and says that it could be good for the Clan. Graystripe then takes Rusty down to the gym, where Rusty runs on a treadmill and lifts weights while Graystripe plays rap music.
When he returns to the camp, Rusty learns from Sandstorm and Tigerclaw about the Gathering, a meeting between all four Clans that only occurs once a year. If they can win a decisive victory against ShadowClan before this year's fast approaching Gathering, then they can force a surrender at the Gathering.
Fortunately, a chance for this comes soon, as ShadowClan attacks the border the next day. Rusty shows off his training by fighting Scorcher, but he completely neglects the rest of his Clanmates in favour of protecting Sandstorm from the ShadowClan forces. Tigerclaw is forced to take the lead and protect the ThunderClan cats. After the battle, the ThunderClan cats all cheer for "Firestar", which angers Tigerclaw, as he's the one who won the battle. Rusty and Sandstorm go on a date by the river, during which Tigerclaw sneaks away to ShadowClan and asks to meet with Brokenstar.
The Gathering comes, and Rusty wants ShadowClan to surrender. However, Brokenstar says that he won't surrender to a fake Firestar. He then reveals that Tigerclaw betrayed Rusty, and that ShadowClan is actually working with BloodClan, who are attacking ThunderClan's undefended camp during the Gathering. Rusty tries to run back to the camp, but Tigerclaw attacks and defeats him, and the rest of ThunderClan are enraged at Rusty for lying about being Firestar to them. Rusty returns to the Twolegplace and goes back to his video gaming with Smudge, while ShadowClan takes over the forest. Brokenstar says that he will rule the whole forest, but promises to split the territories between Scourge, Scorcher, Silverstream, and Tigerclaw.
Rusty and Smudge are playing video games when a song comes on that pumps them up. Rusty asks what the song is, and Smudge says that it's Darude - Sandstorm. This reminds Rusty of Sandstorm, and he realizes that he has to go back and help ThunderClan. He returns to ThunderClan who initially reject him, until Graystripe sticks up for him and calls him a hero. The cats of ThunderClan ask how he'll be of any help, since he's not Firestar, just his brother. Rusty then says that ShadowClan are stronger than ThunderClan, but in the video games he plays, he beats stronger foes all the time by doing something they aren't expecting.
Rusty then takes the ThunderClan cats back to his Twoleg home, where all of his toys are. He says that his toys are simply fun things to him, but in the paws of the ThunderClan cats, they'll be weapons that can defeat ShadowClan. The ThunderClan cats clean out Rusty's house, getting their paws on all sorts of stuff, like an RC car, a pogo stick, a portable minifridge, roller skates, a trampoline, Beats by Dre, scuba gear, a slingshot, a baseball bat, and various other things.
Back at the forest, Brokenstar sends a group led by Scourge to conquer RiverClan, and a group led by Tigerclaw to conquer WindClan. ThunderClan splits into two groups to face them, while Rusty heads to ShadowClan to face Brokenstar. The ThunderClan cats use Rusty's toys in clever ways to take down the armies, before the final battles begin. Graystripe defeats Tigerclaw and tells him that he can't believe they used to be friends. Tigerclaw falls into the gorge to his death. Meanwhile, Sandstorm faces Scourge, who dies when his gun explodes.
In the finale, Rusty battles Brokenstar. Unfortunately, the ShadowClan leader is much too strong for him. However, Smudge appears with the Christmas gift he got Rusty, which was never opened. Rusty unwraps it and finds that it's an electric guitar. He then uses the power of rock to defeat Brokenstar, who explodes into a million pieces after Rusty plays a cool enough song.
After the battle is done, the Clans reconvene, and are happy to have survived Brokenstar's ruthless onslaught. Rusty changes his name to Rustheart and hooks up with Sandstorm. Then, and Rustheart says that peace has come for now, but there will be more threats in the future, so they must always be on guard. They must always be....Warriors!
There's a post credits scene where it's revealed that Scorcher and Silverstream are working for the Dark Forest. The movie's narrator is revealed to be Mapleshade, and she says that Scorcher and Silverstream rule ShadowClan with Brokenstar gone. Scorcher says that now that Brokenstar is gone, she can call him by his real name, Hawkfrost.
