(Whoever took Larry's backpack is gonna have some serious guilt in a few posts)
Larry stood on the shore with fog surrounding him. He squinted his eyes, and was able to make out some kind of humanoid figure standing a few feet away from him. "You know, you might want to wake up soon. Otherwise, I don't think you'll be able to" it said. It was a females voice, one that sounded familiar. He took a step towards the figure, and noticed a flash of green before the world went white. He opened his eyes and spat out a glob of blood. Instinctively, he reached for his backpack, only to find it missing. Oh, this isn't good he thought, frantically looking around him for his backpack

(hey wassup guys)
Mikel was lifting his arm up to examine the wrapping, though he decided to comment on Belle's previous statement. "I used to go hunting with my stepfather a few years back. I haven't held a gun since then, but I still know the basics. Though, I understand if someone else should be given the option to have a gun instead of me. I have...a predicament, haha." He grinned, trying to hide the pain of his arm and foot/leg. "I'm not sure how long it will take for these to heal until I see the doctor... You said there was a doctor available, right?" It was surprising, really, that a doctor had managed to stay alive with them. Almost like a miracle. Except Mikel didn't exactly believe in miracles. Well, not all the time, anyway. Not for this.
Oakley was sat on a boulder opposite the others, listening to the conversation. She was running her fingers through her hair, teasing the strands out, trying to feel for any wounds or bumps at the top or sides of her head. She felt a small one, but it wasn't much. Just a little bump. She'd still need it to be seen, though. Just in case. "I...agree, though I haven't ever had experience with firearms. Sorry. My father and brother were always the ones that dealt with the firearms in our house."

((Hiya! Also, last time I checked Larry's near Belle's group, right?))
"Cool," Ari said at Thana's nod. He looked back at Kieran. "You're going to most definitely helpful if you can walk up that hill all by yourself," he said. "And yeah, we were on the plane too, nice guess. I'm Ari, the guy over here's Shafer. Keep that in mind, there's a bunch of other people up on the hill whose names you gotta memorize too." He then looked down at Thana, pausing in thought before gesturing Shafer over. "Alright, I'm going to be frank - I'm not sure how to do this. Like, one of us could just carry them on the back, but it is a hill. Another thing we could do is one of us carry them under the arms and the other under the legs and we go sideways up the hill, or do the human crutch where they have their arms around both of our shoulders. We could also make a chair with our hands, that's possible. I mean, they're sort of awake, so. I don't know, what do you feel most comfortable with?"
"Yeah - these are his supplies," Lindy said, gesturing towards Mikel's bandaged arm. "Now that I think about it, I should probably check on him - he passed out earlier, I'm not sure why."

Kieran nodded. "I think I can make it up just fine." He smiled a bit, absentmindedly pulling the coral from his pocket yet again. With all this insane stuff going on, he couldn't help but feel a little comfort. He'd survived a plane crash. Unless this was some crazy dream. He wouldn't be the first to think the lack of evidence of a plane crash was odd. The longer he stood, the less disoriented he was. A few days rest and he'd probably be fine. Kieran took a few deep breaths, letting the fresh air fill him with life as he took a couple steps. Much better. An unplanned nap had been just the ticket.
//
Thana thought it odd to be sitting here, almost like a ghost. She couldn't really move, but she heard voices. It was an otherworldly experience, though Thana thought it'd probably be a normal experience had she not lost so much blood. She thought they were talking about moving her, but she wasn't sure. Whatever. Thana closed her eyes, and memories flooded her head. Fire, flooded everywhere as she called for her mom and little sister. Screaming, crying as she fell down the stairs. Thana's eyes popped back open. She opted to feel pain and try to listen to the people rather than relive her past. "Plane." She managed to say, softly, more to herself than anything. Thana propped her head up a bit more, staring at the people around them. None were gaping at her, though she knew much of her skin was exposed on her injured leg. Her face was miraculously still fairly covered, as she'd found that she had made a makeshift bandana thing when she'd originally woke up and tended to herself. Her hood was drawn over her face, strings tight so it wouldn't fall off.
Hehe I'm thinking of sad little Thana in a hoodie with the strings drawn tight. Kinda like that family guy gif if you've ever seen it xD ))

(Hey so lordclover is withdrawing from the rp due to being unable to be as active as she'd like, so that means Tobias is now free for roleplaying. All the things he did [get the gun and the metal bit, for example] still stand, we're just now gonna pretend he did them alone lol. I may have him scrape up Gabriel and maybe Ayva or Julia on the way to meet up with some others)

Ari's attention redirected to Thana. "You were on the plane too, huh? Geez, were all of us on the plane? How were we all scattered outside of it all over the island?" He shook his head, frustrated. "There'd better be an explanation for all this," he grumbled. He shifted to that he was level with Thana's shoulders. "First things first, can you sit up?" He made sure to keep his gaze on her eyes - he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable by blatantly staring at her scars, no matter how curious he was about them. He may be rude, but he wasn't going to cross the line that made other people feel uncomfortable in their own bodies. He knew that feeling too well. Ari held out his hands in preparation to help her up.
"This is probably going to hurt," Lindy murmured as she bandaged Mikel's foot, securing it with athletic tape. "I wish we had a cold pack, but that's going to have to do for now. Try and keep it elevated." She heaved herself up and looked over at Oakley. "Are you feeling okay? Did Belle check you for a concussion already?" She then looked over to where Larry lay, and noticed some movement. "Oh, hold on - I'll be right back," she said, hurrying over to check on him. "Larry? Are you awake?"

Thana was confused, but she raised her arms, staring at the person but not really focusing on their eyes. "Thank you." Still soft. Thana cursed herself in the head. She didn't like feeling weak. She'd been mentally weak her whole life, and didn't need to be physically broken down as well. Maybe it was just a bad dream. She winced as she sat up a bit, trying to remain calm and not yell and scream. Not that her body would cooperate. "Water?" She asked, looking down.

Ari pressed a hand between her shoulder blades to support her as he held on to her arm, helping her sit up. "You got this. Don't force yourself." He watched her face, noticing her lack of focus. "Sorry, we don't have water to drink," he said, the thought causing worry to stir in him. Oh yeah. They don't have water. Just the thought of water was making him thirsty. Great. He hoped someone up the hill had a water bottle or something. "We'll find some later," he said, half reassuring himself. He looked over Thana - she probably can't stand in this state. "Shafer, can you grab her legs?" Ari said. She was pretty tall, so it was going to have to be both of them. "Hold on," he told her. He nodded to Kieran. "You can start heading up if you want, or, if you're feeling up to it, you can spot us, making sure if one of us slips you'll be there to help."

Mikel smiled in gratitude to Lindy, keeping his leg elevated. Yeah, it did hurt. A lot. But, he'd deal with it. He moved his shoulders around until he was able to see his backpack nearby. He moved his upper body and torso towards the pack, picking it up and bringing it closer. Might as well do something valuable while he was just...sitting around. He opened his pack and picked out his notebook and the only remaining pencil still left inside. He opened it, moving over the pages, until he got to his drawings of the wolf creatures. Taking a deep breath, he started to draw more detail to the creatures, adding in fur, eyes, and medallions to the head and tails. It was a way...to keep him calm. To not think about how he was now stuck on a deserted island with some other strangers from a plane crash. To not think about how they may not actually have a really doctor to fix those that are really really wounded. To not think about how they'll get food, and safe water, and what the island actually holds when it came to danger. And, god forbid, to not ever think about what his mother would think right now, after seeing the plane crash on the news. Was someone coming to get them? Or did...did they think them all dead? Eventually, Mikel stopped drawing, tears coming to his eyes, falling softy onto the paper. He sniffled, wiping away his tears with his other arm, and sighed. No, he couldn't think right now. No. No no no no. Stay calm. It will be fine. He'll...be fine.
Oakley gave a shrug to Lindy. "I may have a slight concussion. Still not really sure." She moved her legs up to sit on them, crossing them underneath her, as she sat on the ground. The boulder was...starting to hurt. Too sharp. Her stomach was beginning to cramp up, her nerves obviously shot. She could still feel her hands shaking, though she tried to control them. She breathed in deeply, calming her heart, and breathed back out. She wished her phone hadn't broke from the fall. She'd be able to call someone, possibly. Though, she wasn't sure how much this deserted island had for signal.

Belle was trying to keep a leveled head herself as she thought about their situation. She couldn't stop herself from getting stressed though, it looked like she was the leader until everyone came together and decided to do figure out who would be the official leader. Maybe they could do a vote, where they volunteer who they want as leader. But the gun...that was an issue. She trusted herself with them obviously but other people might not and it would not be fair for them to live in fear of they believed she would kill someone because she could. Belle knew she could never live like that. What about water? Search parties for food? S.O.S signals? Belle wasn't even the official leader and she was finding her thoughts becoming fuzzy the more she concentrated. She looked over at the other patients after realizing she had been staring at the ground for most of the time. She noticed Mikel begin to draw and became curious as to what he was drawing. Belle wasn't much of an artist herself, unless you considered hunting to be an art, or barrel racing. She limped her way over to Mikel, and for the first time since she woke up, sat down. She sat with her legs in front of her beside Mikel and set the crutch down next to her. "What are ya drawing?"

Mikel looked up, slightly startled, his eyes still rimmed red. He gave a side way smile, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment. He cleared his throat, moving his notebook so Belle could see, "Um...just, some designs for characters in a game I want to make. Well, in a game I want to help make, anyway. These are some of the creatures you'd fight in the game--like wolves, but stronger, and they all survive in a tribe-like area. It's...a lot to it, actually," He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as he was trying to talk about the game. Well, now the game will probably never become real. He's not at the college. He should be, but he's not. They won't enroll him, he'll miss the class, and he'll miss his chance at helping design the game... He frowned then, "Getting stuck here...it sucks. Badly."

Belle's eyes sparkled with curiosity as he spoke about the video game he was going to help design. She wasn't one to play a lot of games, besides maybe the retro Legend of Zelda games, but that was only once every blue moon. His drawings were very nice though, she could give someone a stick figure if she actually felt like picking up the pencil. "If you told me to draw, you would get some sort of stick figure at best." She chuckled and then looked up at Mikel's face, but his eyes were red, like he had been crying. Her face became lined with concern, her eyes almost as deep as her thoughts, "Hey, are you okay?"

(tbh i think we're looking at the end of the world here. okay, maybe not. but, i just have a BAD feeling about this election. i really do. ;; it's makin my stomach queasy...)
Mikel had been smiling at her compliments at his drawings, though when she mentioned if he was alright, he looked down in shame, trying to hide his eyes, "E-eh, yeah, I'm fine. Just...kinda messed up, though. With this whole, ya know, getting stuck on an island thing. I mean..." He sniffed, "I shouldn't think about it, much, but there's so much that could go wrong, and this is real, this isn't some weird game show or novel, and it never ended up working out in the Lord of the Flies because they nearly killed each other, well a few did die, actually, but that can still happen to us! And we just...we just..." He tried to calm down from his ramblings, "We just don't know what can happen out here. We don't even know where we are." He noticed he was biting the end of his pencil with his nerves the way they were, and stopped, dropping it onto the ground below.

Alright so it sounds like he just works for you specifically. But no one else? It's scary for non-white, non-straight, non-cis, any of those, and if you're a combination? You're done. It gives Americans permission to hate again, which is scary. I myself am not a US citizen, I'm in Canada. But I'm worried.))

Belle listened as he spoke about his grievances, she understood his concerns and if Belle wasn't trying to put on the tough act she is, she would be having a melt down. Belle placed a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him, "It's absolutely terrifying but we need to do everything in our power to protect and care for everyone here. Even if some of them are a**** like that Ari guy." Belle gave a soft smile, "You seem like you would be good when it comes to idea making, I'm sure whoever becomes leader will need it." Belle hoped she was making him feel at least somewhat better than how she did. 'Service before self', a motto Belle would always remember and live by. And at the moment it seemed like something she should definitely cling onto.

Before Lindy walked over to Larry, she looked over Oakley, who wasn't looking too good. "Well, you didn't seem confused or dazed, and your speech seems normal, and you haven't vomited yet. Do you have a headache or nausea?"
