Of course! Research is important when getting any pet (or in some cases, breed) if you've never had one before. I wish I could get one myself. I've done research on them for years, but until I can save money to move out, my mom won't allow it :c

Also my Fiance is getting it for me he is also making me work for it by washing car any odd job really. I also have cats and a deaf Australian shepherd. My dog she's pretty sweet gets along with any animal my one car I can literally see her being scared of it she's sweet but pretty jumpy to new things. My other I'll probably have to watch although she's pretty old.I am trying to move out once we find the right house.

Here is a very good website for new owners, with a checklist for supplies you'll need and ways to save money. Remember 40 gallon breeder tanks are the MINIMUM size, not the recommended size. bigger is always better. younger beardies can have smaller tanks, but you will need to upgrade as they grow. if you upgrade from the 40g breeder, don't get a 55 gallon tank. beardies need floor space, which the 55g doesn't provide much more of compared to the 40g breeder. get the 75 gallon tank if you upgrade from the 40g breeder. don't smoke/spray perfume/keep a candle running/etc too long. causes irritation and potentially illness ): nails will need to be trimmed. bearded dragons can see/sense lights you might keep on at night. that means do NOT keep lights on at night, it'll disrupt their sleep which is obviously really bad for their health. a ceramic heat emitter will keep them warm without keeping them awake. but any heat AT NIGHT is unnecessary as long as your house stays at/above 65 fahrenheit at night. babies need "baths" every day to get enough water. for older beardies, every other day is chill. more likely if there are shedding problems and things like that. Here is a basic nutritional guide, but I recommend checking multiple sources before deciding on what to feed your scaly friend!here is some more nutritional info based on AGE, which is VERY important for nutritional needs: if there's anything i can help you with, let me know!

I typically buy the 50 count but that's for a 2-tear-old Beardie. What is the price? Also, try roaches or crickets. 500 super worms for $17.85 I think might be a little off but close enough to the price. Plus free shipping.I'll also try those too I just hope mine get lose in the house but if I am careful night not have to worry about that.

Sorry for his loss. Tile is good, nice choice of substrate. I found a Sandy colored tile for $0.56 at a store that I like. I hope to find a dark colored rock for basking either on a walk or just buy one if it isn't to much.
