 This is an entry for an art contest with my little tiny baby, Fiachra. The title of this thread is a little unrelated, I just really like the name. Beautiful Irish names are my aesthetic ^u^ He's from a clan I just joined called Sparrowclan, it's really good, check it out! This isn't really my normal style, I wanted to do something different, but I'm not sure I like it??? |

I really love that drawing, Sappho! Going to call you by your new name because Sappho wrote some pretty ncie poems and I like her. He conveniently reminds me of Ravenpaw, with that innocent facial expression :3

It has been, but paths on the forums hardly ever cross only once.
A little flowery maybe, but still beautiful. Too bad we only have fragments of her work. And I don't think many people know her at all :<

True that. Sometimes it backfires though, that one person you can never get along with just shows up everywhere and you're all  )))))))) I don't usually like poetry but hey if it's gay I'm over it like plaid on a lesbian. It is sad that not more people know, or when people do know her and try to make her straight???? She literally invented lesbians omg. I actually named my gallery after a quote from one of her poems, because why casually like something when it can consume everything you do? |

Honestly, the straight-or-gay question wasn't my primary reason for liking Sappho. True, she's a vanguard of her time on that topic, but I also just fancy her style. Greek-reading person here o/
